My two brothers and I needed a place to stay at short notice and lady Fortune was smiling on us when we found Melody house. We stayed in one of the cottages - it had three bedrooms, two WCs/bathrooms, a huge TV, kitchen etc. The cottage was spotless, the bedrooms warm and extremely comfy. It is a quiet village with...

The reviews for this BnB were some of the best I'd read, so it was with optimism that my partner and I arrived yesterday in the cold November rain. Initially the building looked deserted but someone did come to the door fairly promptly. When we returned to the bnb an hour or so later, the proprietor looked almost affronted when...

A wonderful place in a peaceful village. Great for relaxing - very limited wi-fi and phone signal. Audrey is very welcoming. The B&B is full of interesting bits and bobs collected over time by her and her family - it used to be the village grocers. Great to have proper china and glasses in the room and also at breakfast....

Booked enroute in an emergency on iPad, and will certainly revisit when working in Walsingham and visiting North Norfolk friends. Finding a Single Room within my budget at the height of the season is not easy, and to find such a Treasure amazing! A wonderful personal welcome, clear instructions and easy off road parking. Then finding a luxurious room/home with...

Located in a small village about a mile from the main road. The house was very comfortable and nicely furnished. The room and bathroom were a good size and well equipped. There was a fridge in the room. Good range of choices for an excellent breakfast. Off street parking. Owner very pleasant.Would highly recommend.

My partner & I have just spent the weekend at Melody House with 2 elderly parents. Two wonderful rooms, very clean, everything thing you could ask for including the special touch of fudge and homemade biscuits. Breakfast was amazing the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were the best I have ever eaten. The men enjoyed a full English cooked to...

as i was in the area to seee some old friends and knowing a few drinks might be involved I found this B&B in the next village. On entering the property toy are totally taken in with how spotlessly clean everywhere is and being an old building it must take some looking after. It is full of charm with a...

We recently had a very memorable weekend in Norfolk which was greatly enhanced by the excellent b and b in Great Ryburgh. The Melody House is beautiful on the inside - full of history and interest. Our bedroom was thoughtfully furnished/finished and breakfast was faultless. We look forward to returning one day and would strongly recommend this establishment.

Stayed here for the weekend and could not fault one thing!!! Warm welcome, beautiful room, equipped with everything we needed. Gorgeous homemade shortbread and fudge in our room was an added bonus. Situated in a beautiful quiet village we would highly recommend! Breakfast was amazing! Everything you could want and more, nothing was to much trouble.
