The proprietress, Peg, and her husband Tim Taylor, (deceased), started the little B&B about 20 years ago in the old family log cabin after a thorough renovation. All modern conveniences but absolutely quiet until the roosters start up about 5:30. But they are aways off so not TOO loud. Taylors homesteaded the place and it's been in the family over...

This is the best place for a peaceful retreat in the Daniel Boone Nat'l Park. We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Farm House Inn. Mrs. Taylor was so knowledgeable about the farm and its history and the breakfasts were wonderful. As we drove using our GPS to find this place going from paved road to gravel road we thought...

We spent three nights in this wonderful corner of Kentucky, and this B&B was the most incredible place to unwind and relax. Surrounded by woodland, where just a short walk away there are caves, waterfalls, ponds, amazing rock formations and cliffs. Peg, the Innkeeper, was the best hostess you could ever wish for! We loved it so much we returned...

My family and I truly enjoyed staying at this magical inn. Peg, the innkeeper, is a remarkable woman who made us feel right at home. Plus, the breakfasts were excellent! If you are in this part of KY, don't miss this lovely spot.

My mom and I spent a long weekend here in the spring. It truly is hidden away in the hills and hollers but we are so happy we stumbled upon it! A few days was enough to know we now have a retreat that feels like home in Parkers Lake, KY. Peg is so sweet and hospitable and has lots...

We recently spent a few days at the Farm House Inn and truly enjoyed every moment from the second we arrived. It was exactly what we were hoping for and more. We have two young children and they did not want to leave. While we were there they loved collecting eggs to be eaten for breakfast, playing with the dogs...

And thank goodness for that! Part of the attractiveness of the Farm House is that it's remote and not likely to get some of the attention a more accessible B&B would. You don't just happen on the Farm House; you need to be looking (carefully) or you won't find it. But once there, you really need not leave, if you're...

That's right. The Farm House Inn is not for those who worry about winding roads through deep woods nor is it for those who seek shopping and bright lights as the centerpiece of their holiday. This Inn is for those seeking the peace of farm and forest and outdoor activity.

The Farm House Inn in Good Spring Farm is now one of my favorite places in the world. We came away wanting to share it with all the people we love. This is a three-generation-old farm from the 1920's, with grass-fed cattle and an assortment of chickens, guinea hens and dogs. Three historical houses sit at the end of a...

My fiance and I spent two nights at the Farm House Inn, owned and run by Peg Taylor. This place is REALLY off the beaten path in rural Kentucky, so if you want to feel some real seclusion, this is your spot. Being from NYC, it was just what we needed. Peg is the sweetest woman alive. She made us...
