After visiting the Cumberland Gap National Park take the Wilderness Road north into Kentucky and have a delightful dining experience high on Pine Mountain. Food is great (best fried green tomatoes we've ever eaten), friendly wait staff, and fantastic, panoramic view of the valley.

the place was clean and neat....wi-fi was spotty at best.....the TV didnt work at all in our room. The scenery was gorgeous.....we even saw a few deer running through the property. We didnt go to the restaurant so I have no comment on that.

We spent two nights at this resort park. First of all, its an absolutely gorgeous park, beautiful mountains, birds and plenty of hiking trails. The resort itself is very nicely maintained. We stayed in the lodge which was built in the 60's but the furnishings are classic and well-maintained. Bed, linens, towels all were very nice quality. Views from the...

Arrived at Pine Mountain State Resort in the afternoon. Beautiful setting and wonderful staff. The power happened to be out because of a power pole broken down the mountain. Staff took this issue very well. Gave us our room and said the power was expected to be on later in the evening. Would have loved to eat at the restaurant,...

I attended the Photo Contest hosted by Pine Mountain Resort. The lodge was easy to find. (The contest was great!) Our King Room was recently remodeled. Fridge only, no microwave. Bed was comfortable, shower great, and in-room heat/AC worked great. I believe the weekend was a sell out. I was hoping for better food. Very disappointing. THEY considered a continental...

To get away from everything this is the place. Up in the mountains of south east Ky. you can enjoy peace and quiet. This weekend there was a photo contest for beginners to more advanced. There was a professional photographer there to help everyone. There is a LOT to see! The Cumberland Gap is close by. Lots of history and...

I picked this lodge because I wanted to try something different. GPS sends you all over but I called the front desk and he got me there safely. Cabin smelled a little musty but was very clean. Very cozy but dated. I work at a hotel so I am picky. This cozy cabin passed the test. I would recommend this...

Salad only for me today. Lettuce wasn't very fresh. Other was chef salad and was okay, nothing g special. Iced tea was good. Wait staff efficient. There is a Curvy road that takes 10 minutes to reach the top of the mountain. The view was excellent.

On our way to or from Gatlinburg, we travel US25 to go through the Cumberland Gap on this scenic route. A great stop off for us is having lunch at the Pine Mountain State Resort. The food is really good and the prices are reasonable. You sit among the tops of mountains in an absolutely breathtaking view. No outside noises...
