Went to Natural Bridge with one of my kids to hike and stayed a night at Hemlock Lodge. Great state park hotel, somewhat dated but lobby, restaurant and common areas all in good shape. Rooms are large have had some updates and very good views. We ate in the restaurant for supper and breakfast and the food was fine, typical...

This lodge makes it possible to stay right inside the park during your visit to Natural Bridge. It is a drive up into the park, so it is helpful to be able to stay overnight. Many of the hiking trails start right near the lodge area. Rooms were nice and clean, and each lodge room has a great view of...

Chose to stay on property at the Hemlock Lodge as we (my sister and I) were only visiting the area for 2 days (1 night). Although searches online (and driving tours around the area) had lots of cabins for rental, we opted to stay somewhere we felt was more likely to be secure, economical and felt since we were only...

Chose the lodge as a quiet get-away for our 32nd anniversary. The lodge was everything we had hoped for. Check-in was flawless, as we had made reservations prior. We got the top middle room in the lodge, and it was clean andhad all we needed for our stay. LOTS of water pressure in the shower and FLUFFY clean towells! Beautiful...

One can expect these state lodges to be outdated and kind of dreary. I liked this one better than the others simply because it was really well lit and overall clean and comfortable. There is a very nice size balcony overlooking the forest. It also has the newer flat screen tvs. We also enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast. Good selection...

PROS: Affordable ($79.95), clean room, nice balcony, friendly & helpful staff, plenty of hiking trails, on-site restaurant, free wifi. CONS: No refrigerator in the room, the sink is separate from toilet/shower. Our overall experience was very good. I would highly recommend the Hemlock Lodge.

We had a great night's stay here. The room was nice and clean and we had a terrific view from the balcony. Hummingbirds were abundant. A quick walk upstairs and we could be at the front desk, gift shop, or restaurant. Played a board game that evening in the sitting area with my kids. Really good value. Front desk staff...

The scenery was beautiful and there was a lot of great hiking all around. Unfortunately, the lodge left a lot to be desired. The rooms were VERY dated and musty. The restaurant was overpriced. Breakfast wasn't bad, but dinner was poor. It's a great atmosphere there. They just need to get their act together a bit and it would make...

The Hemlock Lodge in the Natural Bridge State Park was the perfect place for our long-weekend mini-vacation! We were pleasantly surprised at the value we received. The lodge was built into the mountain, so all the rooms have private balconies overlooking the beautiful pool further down the mountain. Our room was clean and pleasant, and the beds were reasonably comfortable;...

We wanted to get a away for a few days, quick decision to choose Hemlock as the local. Have to admit, this is a very nice hotel, with great staff and delicious food, fair pricing. We went ahead of the summer rush so our view may be tainted ( no traffic, no swarm of people) Went in early June. Lots...
