My family and I visited Natural Bridge on Sept. 2, 2016 and enjoyed each minute there together. This stop was fun and educational for my children ages 3, 5, 8 and 9 and a beautiful scenic stroll of nature and history for my husband and I, mother and grandparents ages 81 and 82. The shuttle down to the bridge was...

My family wanted to go see Mammoth Caves so I decided to put this as a stop over for our trip. We stayed 3 days here. Mistake should have stayed longer. There was so much to do in the area, swimming, canoeing, hiking, bird watching (not me but there were a lot of them around), etc. The cabin we had...

I went to the Natural Bridge State Resort Park on a day trip during my stay in Lexington and really enjoyed it. If you like hiking you will find beautiful trails and great scenery. I would recommend going early in the morning before it gets too crowded so you can enjoy it most.

My family enjoys going to State park Inns when we can, it's usually a little more costly but it adds a little to the experience. So to start off every piece of paper and email I've got since I made the reservation says (Natural Bridge State Park Lodge) when trying to find this place every sign says (Hemlock Lodge) ????...

It was ok, the people at the front desk were all really nice. The room is a little dated and the place must be settling a little. Every door in the room dragged and didn't fit quite square. Room 152. The AC was off when I came in and the room was a little musty until the AC finally got...

The lodge was full & the restaurant close to closing time, so the ladies at the desk found us a room in a hotel down the road while we grabbed a quick dinner. The food was good, because it was so late, we just ate the buffet & salad bar. There was a decent selection & the view was lovely....

We stayed here for two nights, and loved the fact that we could get to all of the trails right from the Hemlock Lodge! We stayed in room 113, which was pretty quiet (we requested it to be quiet.) The restaurant was super busy on the first night, due to the First Friday seafood buffet which is a huge regional...

We stopped for breakfast here twice. Once when they had the buffet and once when we had to order from the menu. We found the food very good and reasonably priced both times. Our waitress was excellent the time we ordered from the menu. I would definitely recommend it, at least for breakfast anyway.

The nature is beautiful and the trails are fun. BUT that is not enough to attract people and to make them want to return and actually stay at the resort. We stayed at the cottage #207. It is a good place, but there was no effort to make it nice or attractive. No art on walls, no decorations. The kitchen...

Yes, it's not the newest hotel. But I've never been to a state park where anything is the most modern. That's sort of the point. Plus I doubt the trails could be free (or the hotel affordable) if they tried to go blow-for-blow with the cookie-cutter chains. You can hike. Then check into your room. Then hike some more. Then...
