The Michabelle Inn is a lovely home! The grounds are absolutely beautiful! Our room was spacious and breakfast each morning was wonderful! We enjoyed our stay there and hope to return in the future. David was a wonderful host!

I feel a little bad posting this because the owner called right after we left (after only staying an hour) and I told him we just had to go home. I probably should've been honest because he seemed like a very nice and caring owner. We booked the Scherezade Suite, off the main house. The addition was cheaply constructed and...

My family (including an 8-yr old) spent a night here as a result of travel disruptions during floods. We are lucky to have been able to enjoy this beautiful property and the hospitality offered by the owner. The place itself is tucked away in a quite neighborhood but very close to the main roads and highways. It is well-maintained, and...

Gracious host and lovely rooms. Thank you David for a wonderful stay, you made us feel at home. The place is lovely with wonderful history. The breakfast was great but the service made the experience for me. Thank you again.

It's always great to find a place that exceeds your expectations and the Historic Michebelle Inn absolutely did that! The grounds were very nice. The house was beautiful. Our room was well appointed and clean! The bed was very comfortable and the jacuzzi tub was divine! Even though there was a wedding going on and other guests staying the place...

I am going to have to do this review in two parts, as star ratings will reflect this. We had been travelling from Nashville to Memphis, but as a family we decided we needed to have two days relaxing by a pool etc and due to the reviews regarding this inn we booked two rooms for two days. We had...

Nice place to stay. Pretty grounds. The decor was nice, just not as historical as some. Very comfortable bed! My family fought over it! The only negative was we had a couple come in next to us at 1:30 a.m. and were very noisy until 2:30 a.m. and we could hear them talking loudly...kept us awake. But that was not...

The inn was very pretty, and our room was lovely and sumptuous. The tub was amazing, and the bed in the Orleans suite extremely comfy. But the room got pretty hot, and we had some rowdy neighbors who liked to scream at each other at 1:30 in the morning (obviously not the inn's fault.) Unfortunately we missed Hugh Jackman by...

My mom and I were going to stay at the Historic Michabelle Inn in Hammond while attending a family wedding in the area. Unfortunately we experienced a "500 year rain" in Houston, where we live, and were flooded in the day before we were to go to Louisiana. David was extremely gracious in working with us to find an agreeable...

I booked a suite for my dad and his wife on their wedding night. The owner was very accommodating and helped make sure everything was perfect and I never had to stress about the reservation details. The newlyweds really enjoyed their stay at this beautiful place. Overall, a really amazing experience!
