We booked one night at the Milbank House on our way to Covington, La. My only regret about staying here was that I only booked one night. There is plenty to see and do in the area of Jackson and St. Francisville that we could have easily spent 2 full days sightseeing. Marjorie greeted us upon our arrival and showed... More

We have been 2 Milbank House a few times. I can only say we loved our visits there! It is so welcoming! We had the Gallery Suite for our family of 4 and it has a little kitchen nook and a beautiful large bedroom with a side room with 2 twin beds. All of the furniture brings you right into... More

What a House! Definitively my best experience during my 2 weeks Holiday in the south of the USA. We spent just one night there but we had the chance to be alone in the house... In the morning, breakfast was serve and prepare for us... We felt just like Kings! Thanks so much and we will come back Greetings from... More

My husband and I initially found the Milbank by accident. We were looking to stay in St. Francisville, but everything was booked up. I immediately fell in love with Marjorie while we were getting everything together. She was so friendly and helpful with everything. She gave a great tour and background of the home. This place is absolutely gorgeous! In... More

This B & B is filled with luxury beginning with beautiful antique beds and fabulous mattress and bedding. Its a inn that makes you believe you were from that era. First Class. We just couldn't believe this was as plush and elegant as it was because the price is extremely underpriced. Our hats off to you the Inn Keepers of... More

25 years ago my wife and I stayed at Milbank during an unexpected overnight near St. Francisville, Louisiana. We were pleased with the surroundings, the antique furniture, the friendly and helpful staffing, delicious complete breakfast and the pleasure of having complete access to the entire mansion overnight. Just came through again and guess what, nothing has changed !. Sure it... More

We stayed here to attend the rodeo. Marjorie was fantastic! I cannot repeat that enough!!! We drove in from Texas and had no trouble at all finding the Millbank. Jackson is not that big so it was easy to find. We arrived to fresh (real) lemon aid and chocolate chips cookies (and they were warm!)! Much needed after our long... More

My party of four was treated in a very friendly and professional manner. We were given a tour of the house and offered cookies and lemonade. The beds were comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful. We loved sitting on the veranda and visiting. The suggestions we received for food, fun, and things of interest were very useful. I plan to... More

“We really wanted the Thomas Jefferson room for the bathtub but we really enjoyed the Blue Room. It's great for any occasion. If I lived closer, I would have my sister's retreat there or my granddaughter's birthday party there. Just beautiful.”
