We stayed for a golf outing with husbands and wives. The area is lovely, but also a little remote (St. Francisville is a 15 to 20 minute drive). Be prepared to bring your necessities with you! All the rooms are mini suites with a bedroom and living room separated by a mini kitchen and private bath. Each suite is decorated...

The lodge is situated on the golf course, with a beautiful view. Each room has chairs/rockers on a patio or balcony depending on which floor you are on. The room was very roomy, but we were disappointed with the lack of cleanliness. The floors were sticky and there was dirt/hair on floors. The shower did not drain well at all,...

The Lodge at the Bluffs is a wonderful place to stay for one night or several. It is about 6 miles off of the main highway (but on paved roads). The staff is great! I stayed there almost a month for work and they offer a long-term discount on the price. Each unit has a fair sized living room, bathroom,...

After staying at lessor places in town (St Francisville), I was thrilled to find this golf course community! I am not a golfer, but a business traveler- but found this area nice, quiet, and reasonably priced! As you walk into each suite, there is a "living room" complete with nice flat screen tv, small dining table and chairs, a couch...

Took my golfing husband here for the weekend on his birthday. The room was a very charming suite. The bed was very comfortable. We ate at the Clubhouse and the food was priced just right and it was really good. It was a quiet relaxing weekend that we thoroughly enjoyed. Looking forward to going back in the near future.

The wife and I drove over to relax, play a little golf and tennis, the golf course was outstanding, the best in the state I think, green are very difficult to putt so beware. The tennis courts were in need of some attention but certainly usable, had quite a few cracks in them. The club house was great and food...

I thought the rate was very reasonable, and the location was stunning. You go up a winding road into a forest kind of atmosphere. The surroundings were really beautiful and the room was perfectly fine - plenty of room, clean, with a darling little front porch area with rocking chairs. It was a great contrast to our time in New...

My wife, my son, and I stayed here while attending a rodeo in the Spring. We were very impressed by the accommodations. We were able to make our reservations online at WWW.THELODGEATTHEBLUFFS.COM and the manager was there to personally greet us when we arrived. I'd wish that the golf course was a little closer but that's just a minor annoyance....

This place is off the beaten path - a good 15 minute drive out from town - but the drive is wooded and very pretty. The lodge is beautiful and sits on a lovely golf course complete with two pools, a clubhouse, and an obligatory helicopter pad. When we first arrived, I asked to use the powder room at check...
