Sitting on the lovely screened in porch enjoying the lovely bird's songs after a lovely peaceful siesta! Charming home! Francisville is so charming! I so want to come back next spring too! Looking forward to a yummy breakfast tomorrow!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 days in St. Francisville and we owe that to the wonderful accomodations and hospitality at Barrow House Inn. We were treated to an upgrade in a lovely suite in the Printer's House and were able to spread out and enjoy the suite with it's antique furnishings, the parlor and stocked kitchen. We made it a... Barrow House Inn is a perfect choice for a weekend away from it all and a step back in time. We were in need of some R&R and Barrow House Inn fit the bill perfectly. There are actually two separate homes, we stayed in the Barrow House in the Rose Room. This spacious room had a lovely tester bed with... More

My wife and I spent 2 lovely nights for our 15th anniversary at the Printer's Home at Barrow House. We shared the Victorian Suite which was simply like taking a trip back in time. Complete with furniture and art from the period, but also modern luxuries like recliners, cable TV and an endless assortment of movies. A front porch call's... More

My wife and I booked a weekend getaway and got the Platinum treatment. We arrived to meet Shirley and Chris preparing for our arrival, heck, they had just installed a new refrigerator for our stay! Shirley is a petite woman that makes up for size with her conversational charm, knowledge and wit. Upon our arrival, in the first ten minutes,... More

My hubby and I stayed here for two nights for our one year wedding anniversary and I wished I could have stayed forever! The owner went above and beyond! The printer's cottage where we stayed was just so lovely! The area was so awesome! My husband and I will come back and we highly recommend this place to others! Thank... More

This was not only an historical property, but it was made very comfortable by the great hostess, Shirley, who was very knowledgeable and took time to explain what there was to see in the area. And her egg breakfasts were original and delicious, certainly worth the extra $5. In the Printer's cottage, you had the use of a shared kitchen,... More

Our stay at the Barrow House was perfect in everyway. The place itself was pretty, comfortable. The hosts were very helpful in everyway, and best of all, the egg breakfasts were the best we've ever eaten in the Deep South. Very enjoyable. We'd not hesitate to go back

We arrived late and didn't get to stay long in the morning so our experience is limited, and some of the less than positive things we experienced may have been because of our schedule. The website talks about 3 different kinds of breakfasts, but we weren't really offered any of them. Instead we were left a tray of pastries in... More

My husband and I spent two nights in the Printer's Cottage at the Barrow House Bed and Breakfast. Our suite (Empire) was spacious and perfect for the historical atmosphere of both the B&B and the town of St. Francisville. Our sitting room included very comfortable (modern) recliners but in a very classic style so they blended seamlessly with the period... More
