Staff is top notch. Friendly and informative. Our cabin was perfect. The history tour was very detailed. Had a long chat with the owner about the plantation and where to visit in the area. I highly recommend you visit.

This place deserves to be the center of any vacation tour of the south. We loved just sitting and enjoying a quiet evening enjoying the Myrtles. It was the most friendly staff i can say i have seen in a long time. Every one went out of thier way to make sure we were comfortable and welcome

We stayed in the caretakers cottage. Loved it! super clean, comfortable. So much history and the grounds are beautiful! Didn't see a ghost but maybe next time. The young man that gave our tour was great! The breakfast is very good! Restaurant had recently burned down but the restaurant, the magnolia, they recommended was great. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Two important things: 1) We didn't experience any paranormal activity during our stay - noises, orbs or ghosts. 2) The restaurant burned down in March 2017, so there is no food on site except for complimentary breakfast in the morning. Besides that, we had a wonderful time here! Everyone on staff was super nice and we really enjoyed ourselves. We...

We set up this trip for my daughters 15 birthday. A spooky birthday slumber party. They had an amazing time on the tour, saw ghosts and had a great time. This is now her favorite place to stay. The staff was wonderful, so friendly and thoughtful. If you have not been to the Myrtles, you must go!

I booked a night at The Myrtles because of the history, and yes, I was hoping to experience some of the hauntings that have made it famous. But I didn't expect to enjoy staying there so much. The staff were hospitality itself - so friendly. We stayed in the Caretakers Cottage which was incredibly charming. The bed was very comfortable...

Our stay on Thursday, March 30, 2017, was delightful! It was like being at home. All of the staff made us feel welcome and like we were part of the family. We chatted with the Moss men (owners) as if we had known them forever, the gift shop and tour leaders were so knowledgeable and animated, the night manager greeted...

The place is so enchanting! We have been to the Myrtles several times and have loved it every time! The Mystery tour is fascinating and you hear different stories about new experiences everytime you go. If you are frightened of the unknown, you might want to stick to the daytime tours. ;) Ms. Hester in the gift shop is one...

We had such a great stay overnight in the Judge Clark Woodruff suite! During the day all was quiet. We had an emf detector with us, and a spirit box, and a recorder. We made friends with 2 couples , two were mediums which made it even more interesting. Our room gave us the top floor sitting area and the...

We enjoyed every minute at The Myrtles Plantation. We stayed two nights at this charming bed and breakfast. We were blessed with the opportunity to stay in the Live Oak cabin the first night. The cabin was super clean and spacious. We moved into the Caretakers Cottage for the second night. I could have stayed longer. So cute, tidy and...
