My favorite plantation.....Grand Plantation along the Mississippi River.
Has the most magnificent canopy of 28 live oak trees lining the entrance. Trees are over 200 years old.
A great place to see and view life the way it was for the planters in the 1800's....More
Pictures of cottage 6 on the website really didn't do this cottage justice. It was warm and cozy and very comfortable. After check-in, staff greeted us with a cold lemonade, led us to our cottage, and gave us a tour of it checking lights, etc...More

No, sorry, at least not a short tour. The riverboats that stop here are 3 and 7 day cruises from New Orleans to Memphis or St. Louis. They come highly recommended, but they are not just a quick day-trip tour.
