We have stayed here a few times due to it's great location to the mountain and the outdoor pool and spa. Unfortunately, the last two visits the spa was closed or too crowded to enter and the pool too crowded as well. No matter when we have gone...mid week no school vacations ...there have been lots of children running around,...

We have traveled West for several consecutive years but decided to return to Sunday River and the Grand Summit after a 10-year hiatus. We chose Sunday River for skiing because we think it offers the closest thing to the western experience with its long, steep runs and variety of terrain. We chose the Grand Summit because of its slopeside convenience...

This place was perfect! Super convenient. Everything is taken care of. Ski in/ski out access. Hit tub outdoor pool was great. Very clean and big rooms. Camp restaurant was delicious. Breakfast was included with ski and stay package and had everything you could think of for breakfast. You never need to drive. The resort has their own shuttle and the...

this place is noisy from the time you get up until the time you got to bed. whether it's people stomping around in their rooms ( it's not people in ski boots because it goes on well after the lifts close) to parents letting their kids run up and down the hallways. The people across the hall from kept the...

Stayed here with the kids for one night. The outdoor pool and hot tub as well as the restaurant "Camp" were the big attractions for us. The room was "okay" - pretty plain room. The hotel itself is getting pretty tired and an in need of updating (the hall carpets are from the 80's). The biggest bummer of this hotel,...

My friend and I stayed at the Grand Summit Hotel at Sunday River. We had not been to Sunday River and were excited to try it out. The skiing conditions were excellent and have told everyone how great it was. The hotel stay, however, was a different story. Our room had some issues: Thermostat didn’t work so we were unable...

Spent 4 days at Sunday River and was blessed by two storms that twice left fluffy powder covering the area. Being slope-side at The Grand Summit was a bonus coming in from the happy exhaustion of a full day of skiing. The Studio Deluxe room had a complete kitchen which was great for breakfast and after skiing snacks. It had...

I have stayed here 3 times over the last 5 years and this place is getting tired for the price point. Pros: The lobby and restaurant "Camp" are nice, good bar, food and atmosphere. Good ski in/out location and ski check. The spa and pool are nice. Valet and most of the staff are eager and accommodating. Cons: Check-in clerk...

Packaged as a resort it doesn't quite fit the bill. Good Stuff: Very friendly and helpful staff, a decent beer selection, tasty food. The outdoor heated pool and hot tub are adequate bit have all the sense of luxury of an East German Workers Hotel before the wall came down. The Ski in/out is a benefit. You MUST give your...

Room nice; roomy; Internet excellent; hard to regulate heat. Ski in ski out and ski storage great. Excellent locker room for changing. Camp restaurant breakfast was excellent. Dinner not so much. Waiter didn't know what beers were in tap and Salmon dinner was WAY over cooked Staff very friendly and helpful
