We arrived with a group for a ski weekend rather late and found ourselves warmly greeted. The rooms are quite comfortable - ours was particularly large as we had the room at the end of the hall that was handicapped accessible. Other than the rooms...More
This was my first ski inn experience, and it was absolutely wonderful. We drove up 5 hours from CT and the staff was so friendly that they let us check in early, and left breakfast out for us as well. The Inn is what you...More
The best place and the most awesome people running the Inn. I am a season ski pass holder for Sunday River. I have stayed at both hotels and a condo and am now staying at the Snow Cap Inn. As a season pass holder we...More
Pro: awesome staff - Sue was super helpful and patient - close to mountain, good value if proximity to mntn is critical to you, very basic breakfast included. Con: loud college groups, very dated everything, loud inefficient heating system, sketchy bedding, uncomfortable bed, weird bathroom/sink...More

The rooms are clean and they do provide adequate towels and clean lines. However, to echo another comment made the heating system is ancient and if extremely dry air coupled with noise loud enough to drown out a reasonable volume on the TV bothers you, I would pick another spot on the mountain. I stayed twice in this 2014-2015 season and I will never stay there again because of the noise and they tiny bathroom when sharing a room with friends. We will be back this weekend and we are renting a condo which has a small kitchen and you can ski out to the mountain. the overall cost difference was less than $75pp for a weekend. The common areas are okay but small so expect to share them with several other guests.
