Our first time here. Food was excellent and the view is magnificent! The best homemade potato chips I've ever had! Haddock and Reubens sandwiches were also excellent. Efficient and friendly staff. We'll be back!

We stopped here on a whim mid week and were delighted to get a room with a harbor view. The whole campus is a quaint and vintage. When was the last time you used a metal key to get in a room? But clean as a whistle and so charming. The location is fantastic. There is a piano bar downstairs...

this is a charming hotel located on the waterfront. the views are fantastic, the closeness to Boothbay is unbeatable. the down side is the size of the rooms - they are small. that being said every room faces the harbor. we have been here numerous times and will keep returning.

This is a beautiful venue (boothby harbor) . The rooms are dated and need help. The restaurant is wonderful. Eat some lobster and the salads are really good as well. The specials are very good. I will be eatting lobster and claims soon.

Tugboat Inn was highly rated among Boothbay Harbor properties. Since I only stayed I this one hotel, I can't compare to other Botthbay Harbor hotels ( that's TripAdvisors job!). Our room in main bldg was old and desperately in need of structural maintenance (rotting wood along both front and rear exterior doors and windows, carpets need replacement). Linens were clean,...

Thank you for your review. We do appreciate your comments and observations. We are sorry that our hotel fell short of your expectations. We are constantly making improvements and maintenance is of course an ongoing item. There is always something more to do. This season we did replace carpets in 20 guestrooms, we have new comforters in all rooms, new...

Words can't describe my good opinion about tugboat definitely a great place, the rooms are big enough and clean, the place is in town so you just take few seconds to walk there, the staff is great and i would like to mention that the manager is absolutely a sweetheart. Solar panels used in the top of the hotel a...

I had an apple, cheddar, walnut salad that was large and delicious. My husband had grilled salmon. He enjoyed it. We chose to eat out on the deck to enjoy the weather and the view of boats coming and going. Desserts were awesome too.

I wanted a special room so I called hotel and chose #126 which is a corner room at the very end of the Tugboat Pier, top (2nd) floor. Thanks to Shelby for that help! It had a window on each exterior wall so we got a good cross breeze in evening and slept without AC. Noise level not too bad,...

The location is great as it is on the water and in town so we had no worries with parking. We stayed in a room above the lounge and had a shared deck which was nice. We had a king bed which had a pillow top mattress and plenty of pillows and blankets. There was a tv, ac, refrigerator, keurig,...

Returned for what has become an annual visit. Great location, right on the water and in the middle of a very quaint town with lots of shops for browsing/shopping. Room was very comfortable. Only negative thing about room was missing screens on the windows in Room 413. Breakfast greatly improved since 2014. Servers were extremely friendly and efficient. Chef did...
