A well run family business, just across the river from Bangor. End unit with kitchen was quiet and suited us perfectly for one night at the end of our 2 week Downeast vacation. Very close to the airport, even though it felt rural. We have reserved for a night attached to our Downeast visit this year, too. This place is...

We have just returned from another fantastic 3 night stay at the Colony Motel. Steve and Lynn are the greatest owners we have dealt with in our travels. We were lucky enough to find this place by chance on our way home from a trip to New Hampshire a few years ago. Being from Canada it is important to us...

Our recent stay at the Colony Motel was excellent!! The proprietors, Lynn & Steve, have gone the extra mile to ensure all their guests are comfortable and content. The rooms are SUPER clean and beautifully decorated. I can honestly say this was one of the best motels I have had the pleasure to have stayed in. If you are travelling...

After having driven all day we just wanted somewhere to sleep for the night. I read the reviews on this motel and I knew we needed to stop and see if they had any rooms available. The moment I walked into the office I felt very comfortable and knew this was the place. It is evident that the owners of...

The owner Lynn was very friendly and responsive to our requests. She really cares about her guests enjoying their stay. Based on previous reviews, I mentioned to her that I am a light sleeper and would prefer a room away from the road noise. She was very accommodating. She was also happy to provide a hairdryer upon request. The room...

My daughter and I were looking for a place to stay in Bangor. We saw how fantastic the reviews were for the Colony Motel so decided to try it. We were not disappointed. If you want a place that is family run, immaculate, homey, family friendly, conveniently located, and quiet.... this is the place for you. We will be back!

We had been down-east to Lubec and Campobello Island and had been driving all day. Unfortunately we hadn't made any motel reservations so were looking to stop at the first place we found which happened to be the Colony in Brewer on Rte 9, the "Airline" as they call it. The place was immaculate. The paint appeared new, the room...

This wonderful, family-owned hotel is a gem. Our room was spotlessly clean and huge! The decor is lovely and the grounds are beautiful. We were very impressed. Rates are extremely reasonable. We will return!
