My wife and I stayed at the Vacationland Inn while visiting "nearby" Acadia. The rooms were decorated with a coastal flair reminiscent of light houses and surf. The rooms were clean, but dated, circa 1970s. I enjoy historic hotels, so this wasn't a problem. They included desk, Keurig coffee makers (very nice), flat screen TV, and work desk. My only...

Don't be fooled by the name of this place or the pictures of seashore stuff. This is an average motel on a nondescript urban road. They've created a fake little seaside "boardwalk" indoors ... kind of weird, but amusing if you're in the mood. Staff very friendly, rooms clean and generally ok.

This hotel is dated but the front desk staff do try very hard to make you feel welcomed. The rooms are clean however time is starting to show on some of the furniture. If you are only staying overnight don't let this review turn you away. As well there is an excellent family restaurant a 2 minute walk (next door)....

Our visit started in the beautifully designed lobby with an attendant that made the process a smooth one. Immediately, they offered advice on the area before directing us to a "coastal Maine" designed room. The character and thought added to each room was incredible and the room was kept spotless. Definitely don't miss the delicious, complimentary breakfast in the lodge-like...

Stayed in their "wilderness" themed suite for one night. It was comfortable enough, and the jacuzzi tub was very nice. Still, not worth the exorbitant price. The bathroom was outdated and needed a deep clean, and the complimentaries were super stingy. (No conditioner, for one thing.) The continental breakfast was hugely disappointing. Not a single protein option, no fruit, yogurt....

We pulled in about 7 pm and asked if we could use a coupon and the desk person said 'sure can' and placed us in a large room with two queen beds! The room was very clean as was the bathroom and the beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. We were told about many of the local restaurants giving...

We selected this spot because it has some pet friendly rooms. We found our room comfortable and loved the idea that it had a hard wood floor, rather than the typical carpet. (I always worry about what some other pet may have done before our visit). I don't usually go in for stuffed animals and overly cute decorations, but in...

This was my second stay at Vacation Land Inn. I arrived late (11:00pm) . The front door was open and the desk clerk was there to greet me. The room was reasonably priced, clean and comfortable, great value for the money and I would stay here again next time I need a room in the Bangor area.

Nice place to relax. The bed was on the firm side. I realize that is a personal preference. The TV was on the old side but they have Satellite TV. It was nice to not have carpet in a hotel for a change. The room selection is limited if you're traveling with a furry family member. There was 2 doors...

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for one night only, but it was very good; the man at the reception was very kind and told us about restaurants close from the hotel. The breakfast was really good, but didn't have any fruits. Also, the room itself was great, it was clean and had a little fridge which has...
