Nihara is a beautiful property located at Cheranalloor, Kochi. It is very close (within one kilometre) of Aster Medcity. It has a chalets type accommodation consisting of one bedroom studios. The place is close to Kochi’s backwaters. It is a calm and quiet place with lust greenery and plenty of fruit trees. There is an open space for campfire and open air gatherings. The property has a restaurant which serves authentic South Indian breakfast every morning. The breakfast is good for Indians, but overseas visitors will not relish it. They need to improve it with more continental items to make it attractive for foreigners. The property ha excellent housekeeping team and all the staff are friendly and helpful. My friends from Oman and me spent around seven days in the resort. We enjoyed our stay. My guests enjoyed everything except the food which was predominantly Indian.

We had an amazing time at Nihara Resort catching up with good old friends and their families in Kochi on vacation away from our home in New Orleans, USA. Our school and college buddies were treating us at the resort. Nihara offers the serene Kerala beauty of back waters, yet close to the busy city center. We could watch the lively waterway from the sit out yard, traditional ferry crossing boats passing and fish vending small canoes filled with fresh catches docking at nearby residential waterway steps, negotiating prices with the neighboring households etc. Our childhood memories of Kerala village life watching from the resort shore was priceless for us. Food variety at the resort was excellent, nicely prepared Kerala dishes with choices of seafood and variety meats spiced just right. The stay at the resort gave us an unforgettable look back to a past we all could capture back. Staff could not be any more professional and nice, tending to any requests with a smile. We were booked by an agent, and thought we were going to the Sheraton. On arrival we were disappointed at the error, but not for long. Staff were lovely and very accommodating, room was great, with a balcony as well. We went twice to their seafood restaurant across the road, which has only been open a month, not even a sign up yet. Food was sensational, I was so surprised. The first night we had a seafood platter, which had 2 giant tiger prawns, a big cutlet of seabass, calamari and prawns, and a side dish of fried anchovies. The second night we had whole sea bass and mud crab I only wish they were licensed, a glass of Reisling would have made it perfect.

Me and my family members was stayed 10 days back, hotel was neat and good. Room was more comfortable for 3 pax we booked 3 rooms. Staff was very nice and very polite. Food was very tasty.transport was easy to access to reach all sight seeing places.

Very beautiful hotel in a perfect location to explore in kochi main attractions. The room was very nice, comfortable and spotless. The staff extremely nice and friendly. We had dinner there and food was delicious. Traditional kerala style curry and masala dosa.would definitely stay back next time here and recommended to my family and friends.

We spent one day at Nihara and found the pool was excellent and the service was super... this place is in the heart of the city yet very quiet and comfortable. Clean rooms and good food. Special mention of their staff Vinod and Anish who made our stay absolutely great!

Had a pleasent stay at Nihara. It is about 20 Kms from airport . The check in was smooth and the front office staff was courteous. The rooms were large with all amenities and clean bathroom etc . Overall good experience

Nihara is truly a beautiful resort. I had my brother’s cocktail party there. Everything was just up to the mark!!! Absolute hospitable and friendly staff added to the experience. Amazing property with a great location and happy smiling faces all around. The food was of excellent taste and quality. Highly recommend.

We stayed @ Nihara resort for 2 days with family. It was a good experience. They have nice rooms , cottages , big swimming pool and kids play area. They have a restaurant and it serves good & tasty food. Staffs are friendly and supportive.
