Currently staying in a Suite on the lower levels so it's very close to the street. We have a balcony door without a handle that is a little open. The first time we talked to the staff they claimed the door was closed. The second time they told us that they were sending someone up to look at it. Noone ever came. So we had to try to sleep trough constant honking and siren sounds. Additional to that moskitos came trough the open door and i honestly don't even know how often i was stung. I think we pay enough to get more than 2 hours of sleep. In our Friends room on the 9th level there were constant sounds of moving chairs and tables until 0:44 in the night. At 4 o'clock in the Morning the noise started again. The third Time we asked and showed them a Video of the Door and they again claimed that they will send someone to repair it while we were out but nothing changed. There is no hot water at night and no one to help if there are problems. Don't expect too much. It looks better on the Pictures than it actually is. Hubby & I thoroughly enjoyed an 8 day stay in a deluxe suite on level 705. We recommend Olive Downtown to everybody, we were warmly received by all hotel staff, we were treated with compassion & kindness, our room was warm beautiful and cleaned daily. We loved the decor throughout the hotel, the food catered for westerners as well as locals, the selection and vast array of food types was impeccable and if we required something not on the menu, chef would accomodate us. As a kiwi couple from NZ, the service would have to be just as good if not better than in New Zealand, very obliging very accomodating and service was always greeted with a smile. Hotel situated in the center of the city. Had an efficient House Keeping and Restaurant team. Serves good food in the Restaurant. The In Room dining (Starter) that was ordered was delivered cold. Has a Skye Bar on the 10th floor. This area is good to unwind in the evening.

Large property, ample real estate. A good breakfast spread, a good location. The AC worked fine, good aqua area, and the sleep quality was great. On the downside, poor people skills. This is more of a transactional place, with no attempt at guest satisfaction. Poor internet connectivity also marred the experience. The dinner buffet at 700 plus taxes is not worth the deal. Yet, overall a good experience and not a No for the next time.

Visited the pool side restaurant. Good food and live music. Nice place a hangout. We also tried the buffet. There should have been more options for dessert. However overall decent food. The staff were all very friendly and service quality was 5 star.

A great location and friendly staff. Clean and was a great stay for a day on work. Room size is nice and facilities in the room above average. Booked a suite room so could enjoy dinner in the room with friends.

Property is fine, location is fine, but service is pathetic. * Check in & check out is not easy, took longer than usual. * Room service is not even capable of providing a tea-spoon despite multiple reminders. * Pool towels not provided even though requested via telephone and waited around an hour. The only prompt service we seen during the stay is of gate keeper and valet parking assistant. Both of them were doing their job perfectly. Overall definitely not a 5 star experience. Not worth the money paid.

After a disastrous trip to another club Mahindra property we were looking forward to a stay at Olive Downtown, kadavantara as we had enjoyed our stay here a few years ago. But, unfortunately, this was another disastrous trip. The entire hotel seems to be falling apart with leakages from the corridors to the rooms and the management doesn't seem to be bothered about it as club Mahindra members are booking it up. The staff at the reception are clueless about everything and even after complaints do not bother to rectify the problems. The only positive point about the hotel is the proximity tothe metro station and other transport hubs. And I would like to mention the lounge on the tenth floor where the staff were super attentive and cordial and where the food was great though the menu was limited. Better to opt for other hotels with better maintenance than pay for a hotel with leakage and other issues.…
