Nice view of the river. Big porch, I assume there would be chairs in warmer weather. Good price, very clean, outdated, but fine. As others have said, it is not well soundproofed. We travel with a noise sleep machine, so it did not bother us. The wifi worked very well for us.

motel has not updated many of the room in the past very years, so a bit of a hodge-podge as to room quality. Newest section, the river view section, have very poor insulation so you hear neighboring room noise, and morning the sound of water pipes as showers/baths are taken. staff are very nice and will try and make up...

Initially booked a river-view room. Turns out the soundproofing in the riverfront building is really bad. Could hear all details of the argument going on next door. They moved us to one of the other buildings, and it was better, but still not up to modern hotel standards. Otherwise an okay place to stay. Just bring a "sleep sounds" generator.

They seem to want to take care of you. Rooms are ok. Have to remember this is not a four star, not even a three. But have found out the hard way not to leave anything valuable in your room. Also; there are too many keys for each room. Not enough security. Would advise staying somewhere else.

We were exhausted after driving all over Maine. We found this place late in the evening. So glad we did. The rooms were spotless, plenty of hot water, and beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Even though we were located close to the highway, noise was not an issue at all. Great stay !

This isn't the nicest place I have ever stayed, but for a very small town at the edge of Maine it was perfectly comfortable. Be sure to ask for the newly renovated river view rooms. Also I know previous reviews struggled with the wifi, but i found it to be fine to do everything i needed (check email, fast browser...

We stayed at this motel after crossing from Canada. The room was dark, dingy, and the carpet was filthy. It obviously hadn't been updated since about the '60s with a lavender bathtub and old, worn out furniture. That being said, the worst part of our stay was the paper thin walls and the loud and obnoxious neighbors who kept us...

This motel was very peaceful. We chose a king size bed in a river view room. It is well worth the minimal upgrade for this view. We sat outside relaxing until it got dark. There is also a very nice walking path along the river. The motel has obviously done some upgrades, the chairs were brand new, the carpet was...

We stay at the International every time we come up to visit our daughter. Always treated like family by everyone. We prefer to stay down on the water front, but the rooms are clean. Sure, it is an older hotel, so the rooms are not perfect, but they are clean, beds comfortable, showers with plenty of hot water and great...

Needed a pet friendly place to stay for a family wedding. This motel is just average. Beds were too springy, carpet looked dirty, nothing great. At $90 a night I expected better. People were friendly tho so that is something.
