Completely renovated, this Camden Maine hotel is Midcoast Maine's newest jewel. The reimagined look embraces the history of this iconic property, but also brings new focus on the natural beauty of Camden - the town where "the mountains meet the sea." Whitehall is an ideal spring, summer, and early fall destination for those in search of an artisanal, authentic Maine experience. The property boasts rambling front porches and a patio perfect for enjoying a glass of wine or fresh lemonade and fire pit for late night hangouts.

Gwen was a fantastic host during our 3 day stay at Whitehall. She was friendly, responsive, and helpful in every respect. During our 10 day trip to New England, we stayed at 3 different B&B's. Whitehall was the best. The small plate "tapas" like breakfasts were fun and

This was our first trip to Camden and we wanted to get a real sense of place so we chose the recently renovated Whitehall by Lark Hotels. If you're unfamiliar with Lark, they are creating unique hotels and experiences that offer a sense of whimsy and place. Whitehall felt as if

This was one of my favourite hotels on a trip around Eastern USA. After many traditional inns and dated hotel rooms, Whitehall was a breath of fresh air. We loved the decor in the rooms and lobby areas. We loved the small plates quirky breakfast, the friendly reception and ample

Wow - thank you so much for such a lovely review! We are so happy to hear that Whitehall is one of your favorite East Coast spots and even happier to hear that you enjyoed everything from the decor to the cozy lobby area, the small plates breakfast, and the friendly staff. We can completely understand that you may have been more comfortable in a room further back from the road and we'd be happy to ensure that you get the perfect room the next time we welcome you to Camden!

Gwen and the team were great hosts during our multi-day stay. The room and bedding were comfortable and the breakfasts delicious. Lunch and dinner are not served, but there is a full bar. The property is on the fringe of the downtown area that has many excellent restaurants.

Happy to hear that you had an enjoyable stay with us and found our guest services team to be so accommodating! So glad that you were comfortable in your room, enjoyed the delicious breakfast and we do hope you were able to explore and dine at those excellent restaurants you mention. We do appreciate your feedback on small areas of improvement. As we inch towards the end of our 2018 season, we will certainly be thinking about minor renovations that could be made. We do hope to see you again for another getaway soon!

What is check out time?
So sorry this took so long; haven't checked the app in a while. I seem to remember 1100. We checked out early because we had a pretty good drive ahead of us.

Do any/all of the rooms have tubs?
Pretty sure there was ac, it's a very complete boutique hotel, and it does get cool at night, esp by August. Enjoy!

do any of your rooms have two queen size beds?
No, none of the rooms at Whitehall have 2 queen beds, but we do have King conversion rooms (the room can be set up as one King bed or two twin beds) and we have suites that have a King or a Queen bedroom with a pullout couch in the lounge. Hope that helps!
