From the moment of arrival until our departure we were made to feel at home. Sue & Phil are brilliant hosts who were so inviting, welcoming and accommodating to our needs. The Inn is truly majestic...a living, breathing piece of history and ode to the past with modern appeal. The property is extremely well maintained. The common areas are elegant,...

We stayed at the Norumbega Inn for just shy of a week. We held our wedding there and it was nothing short of magical. The staff was friendly, the inn was absolutely beautiful, and the food was delectable.

Here for the wedding of a friend, we encountered amazing, welcoming service, superb food, and accommodations that were unique and spectacular. This historic home had wonderful spaces that you encountered as you wandered around the beautiful building. Many rooms had private balconies or patios, some had their own fireplaces, but the shared spaces were the star of the show. Beautiful...

We had a most delightful stay at the Norumbega Inn in Camden. The staff was extremely helpful in every regard-including carrying heavy luggage up three flights of stairs! The breakfasts were beautifully presented and creatively delicious. The dinner recommendations were spot on. Certainly would return on our next trip to charming Camden.

Staying at the Norumbega Inn was like staying in one of the mansions in Newport, only you are allowed to sit in the chairs and touch things. The breakfasts were lovely, and they took special care of my food allergies with delicious alternatives. The room was warm and comfy, with a working gas fire place. My husband and I were...

We were honored to be a part of your anniversary celebration, and are happy to know you felt comfortable in the grandeur of the house. Because it was a home for so long, we try to extend that feeling throughout instead of feeling like in a museum. We hope to see you again soon!

It looks like a castle as you approach by car, and then on foot, and as you enter and then climb the stairs. But once you're in your room it's a comfortable, luxurious environment, with all the modern amenities you could want. Of the three inns we stayed at while in Maine, Norumbega easily had the friendliest and most helpful...

It's not often you get exactly what you want but that is an understatement in trying to describe the care and attention and just plain friendliness of Susan and her crew at The Norumbega. From Jackie's warm welcome to our extraordinary "Tasting Dinner" and "Wine Pairing" with the "Cutlery Fairy" on Monday night, we couldn't have been happier. The Arundel...

We have driven by the Norumbega Inn on Route 1, just north of Camden, for more than 40 years and always wondered what it would be like to stay there. This September we had a chance to find out and the short of it was that it was wonderful. We had opted for a third floor turreted room facing the...
