We have been staying at Beloin's for 10 years, every summer, sometimes multiple weekends per summer. The owners and staff are very friendly and make us feel at home. The cabins are right on the water and the views are the best in midcoast Maine. This is a great place for couples and families. With reasonable prices and a recurring... More

These are like the cottages that time forgot. If it wasn't for the microwave and television these could have been the vacation cottages of my childhood. Two of us stayed in a oceanfront cottage that offered side-by-side rooms, as my friend was traveling with her dog. We loved the view, and the sound of the sea. The heaters made the... More

We stayed in the waterfront motel, room 14. When we first drove in to the motel from the highway we couldn't see the water and I was a little concerned, however, when we checked in I found that we had a 1/4 mile drive down to the waterfront. The friendly owner checked us in and gave us a bag of... More

Return to the days before homogenized corporate monoculture with a stay at Beloin's. These little old cottage style motel suites are not for the snobbish but their economical price and charm will appeal to those looking for something more authentic. The location is nearly unbeatable with some of their units right on the water above the rocks of the rugged... More

Beloin's is our all time favorite place to stay in Maine. The view is amazing! We love the cottages perched right above the rocks overlooking the water. The owners are on site every day and very friendly and accommodating. If you need something, just ask. Yes, the cottages are older but they are clean and comfortable. The furnishings are retro... We were eager to stay directly on Penobscot Bay, so we were willing to overlook the tried fairly shabby condition of the place. On the plus side: The owner/host was friendly and accommodating and the view was spectacular, especially the sunrise in the morning over the bay. The little road side stand just north of the office building had great... More

Older, quaint cottages, therefore slightly sloping floors and small bathrooms but incredible location right on the cliffs of the ocean, very private, pet friendly, very clean. The owners are on site and fantastic people who try their best to accommodate any requests... Have stayed many times over 20 years

I LOVE BELOIN's. It's our Happy Place. 💥 True story: each New Year's Day, I make a list of "Top 10" experiences from the year that just ended. Great fun to make the list & look back on faves, & "Top 10" notebook is a terrific memory-helper in the decades since I began this joyful list. Our annual week at... More

I can't imagine coming to mid-coast Maine and not staying at Beloins. Staying at Beloins is a step back in time and we wouldn't have it any other way. We stayed in one of the duplex cottages with the most spectacular view of Penobscot Bay....with lobster fishermen coming so close you could hear their conversations! Although our original plans were... More

A group of friends and I had the extreme pleasure of staying at Beloin's last weekend, and we could not have been happier with our good fortune. Being able to hear the water lapping at the rocky beach from our bedroom windows and seeing the red full moon rise over Penobscot Bay each night was such a treat. We stayed... More
