We've been waiting for years to finally visit Karen and Dave at Timbercliffe ~ All expectations were exceeded! The house is beautifully appointed throughout and the amenities from breakfast, the other guests, the rooms, the porch, the view and Maddie, their dog, would be hard to surpass. Camden and the surrounding area have so much to offer. We visited Islesboro... More

We had a wonderful overnight visit to Timbercliffe Cottage. The owners were very welcoming and the house was lovely and decorated beautifully for autumn. Homemade treats were available in the evening when we arrived; the room was clean and very comfortable with a view, and the breakfast was amazing. Would highly recommend.

This inn is 1/2 mile from the town of Camden. Dave and Karen were excellent hosts and provided a clean, well-appointed room, as well as helpful information about sites to see, including the Narrows Bridge, a light-house, restaurants, Arcadia NP. And each breakfast was delicious and unique.

Our first impression was "rather dark and strickt - as if for the puritans" - we needed some time to relax, but then we started exploring and the next day, with breakfast at the porch, with October sunshine and ocean-views we felt utterly well and cozy. Owners are very nice and helpful people, they put their heart into this b&b... More

Timbercliffe Cottage is a great b&b. It is full of character from an old Maine house. We had a huge bed in a good size room, quite dark but not oppressively so. It does have a tiny bathroom but perfectly adequate & means you get the most from the bedroom. (But not for you if you want a large bathroom!).... More

We were very pleasantly surprised how nice this b&b is. The place is so cute and clean. The full breakfast was great. There are cookies and snacks available all day long. There is bottled water in the room and fridge in the kitchen. Coffee and tea are always on.Very nicely decorated bedrooms and common areas. Living room with a fireplace... More

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the Timbercliffe Cottage in August. We have been to Maine several times but this was our first visit to the Camden area. We cannot say enough nice things about our visit. The innkeepers were fantastic, the rooms were very well appointed (although our room was quite compact, being from NYC we are... More

My husband an I recently took a trip up the coast of Maine; stopping in scenic Camden. We spent a night at Timbercliffe. Karen and Dave have a lovely Bed and Breakfast in Camden. They are both knowledgeable and helpful; with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. The home is up on a hill with views of the Penobscot bay. Our room... More

We stayed only one night and felt very welcome by Dave and Karen. We had a delicious breakfast. Everything they served was very good. Karen shared several of her recipes with us and Dave gave us suggestions on places to visit. The rooms was clean, on the smalish side. The place is quiet and easy to find. The view from... More
