Nice, very soft bed. Nice linens. Like most hotels in Camden, unique floor plans fitting old houses and commercial buildings. Opened window overnight to sleep to sound of river running nearly underneath building. No elevator. Stairs steep.

Absolutely lived up to expectation.....so be sure to choose accordingly. My husband and I were seeking a room for the night that would provide reasonable comfort and be walking distance to in-town dining. We carefully read the Inn at Camden Place's Website and knew that there were options for different room sizes and that there were no elevators, breakfast or...

I always stay here when in town. The rooms are always the best price for a nice room in Camden. And the rooms are nice- all the the important things are covered. Comfortable bed, good shower, clean, spacious, attractive, quiet. And right in the heart of beautiful Camden.

I fail to understand the negative reviews. This casual hotel is clean and convenient. It is inexpensive and, although it may lack some of the extravagances of more formal hotels, it is perfectly acceptable. I'm here to rest, sleep and shower and the bed is comfortable and (this is most unusual) really, really nice pillows. Many people travel with their...

We had a second-floor room, with a king-size bed. The room itself was large, and quiet, and well-kept. Furniture was nice, although one of the two padded-chairs was basically unusable (stuck in a corner behind a pillar) . Shower was good. The lighting was a little dim (the three-way-switch table-lamps had only low-wattage CFLs in the them, and they were...

Last year we stayed here for a post Christmas getaway and enjoyed our stay. So, we decided to stay again this year. The experience was the same, clean, comfortable and spacious room on the third floor. The location is hard to beat. Plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Recommended.

Great off season rates. We were here for Thanksgiving. Third floor room was a bit of a walk but we just went out in the morning and came back in the evening. A bit of breakfast would have been nice and more convenient. Friendly staff. Nice room. Clean. Quiet. Nicely decorated.

I have stayed at a few B&B's within Camden, and while The Inn at Camden Place lacks the polish, luxury and 'homey' feeling of other establishments, its central location and relatively good rates make it ideal as a place to crash after a day of exploring downtown. Don't expect a breakfast (continental or otherwise), but there is a complimentary Keurig...

loved this little inn, we had a room right over the water so it was very peaceful. Will definately go back. Right in the downtown area, was a great location. Not noisy at all and the staff were great.

We stayed here in August 2015 and loved it. Was great to be right in town and the room was spacious and very comfortable. Had trouble with the WiFi the first night because of a storm but it was fixed the next day (if this happens, park next to the Rockport public library or go down to the Samoset in...
