We stayed at Inn the Bush for 4 nights. Our stay was amazing. We loved this property for so many reasons. When we arrived we were greeted by the owners, they made us a cocktail and allowed us to unwind from our drive. They then...More
This is an amazing property run by a wonderful family in a truly beautiful part of Belize that is relatively unknown. I would assume a majority of people that visit Belize stick to the cayes and coastlines. We were fortunate enough to stay half of...More

I'm a long distance runner. Just wondering if it is possible/safe to run on the roads and/or trails near your lodge. I'm an experienced runner on gravel roads so the surface would not be an issue for me.
Any information would be great.

sorry for the delay in answering your question. This is a jungle lodge located 8 miles from San Ignacio/Santa Elena Town and from the entrance of the Macaw Bank Junction we are two miles in and on dirt road with hills. Its pretty much safe here for its in the jungle and we have the privilege of enjoying wonderful mountainous views and listening to music of the jungle with hardly any traffic coming in or going out. Note: our neighbors are friendly and they do have dogs on their property. Also, we have well groomed nature trails on site which are pretty safe for running and the owners also reside on the property if you may have any other inquiries. Like i always say being cautious is something that one must always be no matter where you go.
