Very family oriented place in Freeport but it is no longer open. Tried to call several times but they are out of business. Sorry to see them go. There are a couple of other Freeport inns that also accommodate families with children, will have to try one of those.

I'm a solo traveler and I stayed here for one night on my New England Road Trip in September. I stayed in room #3. Wow! Where do I start? This was by far one of my favorite inns of the road trip. Chip was great and my room, (actually, a suite,) was awesome. I pulled into Freeport during a raging... More

Our first B&B experience was a complete success. Chip and Janet are wonderful hosts. The fresh homemade breakfast was the best. We pass through Freeport several times a year, Maple Hill B&B will now be our first choice. Deb & Steve

The location of this b&b and the owners chip and janet are the best things about the place. The breakfast is cooked to order and delish. As for the price, it's a little bit much, but i noticed that most of the places are expensive in the fall. They did give us a discount for staying three nights. I think... More

It was great dealing with Chip (co owner) before we arrived, a lovely note waited for us at arrival with ideas for places to eat. Very relaxed and very comfortable just like visiting a great relative. Only a couple of minutes walk to LL Bean and the amazing rest. and shops. Azzule Rest. was amazing. Breakfast is amazing. I loved... More

This B&B has been one of the highlights of our visit to New England. It's a very informal establishment, and the owners, Chip and Janet, invited us to make ourselves at home. There was tea and home-made cookies for guests to help themselves to, and a lounge with a huge comfy sofa where you could sit and read or chat... More

This is a very unusual B&B. If you are traveling with kids or pets and desire an extremely casual environment, you will be very happy here. Unlike most B&Bs, there was very little separation between the family and the guests. In fact, we ate breakfast with the owners, their three children and dog. Instead of an inn, It felt more... Our fourth visit to Freeport, and the fourth time we've stayed here. It's a small B&B with 3 rooms, though they are expanding with an addition. Old New England home that we find simply relaxing and peaceful. Chip and Janet are the owners, and are onsite with their 3 kids. Very laid back atmosphere. Fireplace in the living room with... More
