My wife, daughter and I enjoyed 3 nights there. It is close to Mt. Desert Island and situated close to the bay. Karen is an excellent host and knowledgeable about the area. Her breakfasts are unbeatable!! We saw 2 bald eagles on the beach outside our room and really enjoyed visiting her sheep, llama, ducks (very funny),chickens and kitties and Mrs...

Delightful 3-day stay for 2 couples in a quiet, peaceful setting so close to the attractions on the Scoodic peninsula and Acadia National Park. Karen is a wonderful hostess. She served our delicious breakfasts on a covered porch as the beautiful weather allowed. This property is off the grid, a waterside setting and a working farm all rolled into one!

Nice stay off the grid for five nights. Karen served wonderful breakfast, especially her blueberry pancakes and -scones were delicious. She was very helpful about suggestions for where to go everyday at the breakfast. The view from the bedroom is awsome and she has a canoe and doublekayak that you can use, which we also did. We can recommend visiting...

Great to be with kind Karen, in a beautiful space with well-loved farm animals and pets for the viewing if you wish - and we did. Didn't know ahead that we could canoe on Frenchman's Harbor. That was a treat, too. Very grateful all around.

The location, room, and view were fantastic. Karen made us the most amazing breakfast. We were able to take Alice the poodle and we all loved the whole experience of this B&B. I would reccommend this to any one who wants a treasure of a stay.

We had an amazing time, a quiet and off the grid B&B. The location is convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park without the crowds and traffic. The room was very comfortable and homey, breakfast was perfect and consisted of fresh baked goods with free ranged eggs. It was easy to bring the kayaks down to the water and...

This is a peaceful escape and a great experience! The rooms are clean and tidy, the breakfast was amazing, the property is incredible, and the owner is wonderful! We could have spent our entire time roaming around the property and been quite content, but the inn is located in close proximity to Ellsworth and Bar Harbor if you’d like to...

Three Pines has a lot going for it. Amazingly sustainable. A prime, secluded location. A welcoming host. Fantastic food. Incredible views. We were grateful for the opportunity to kayak on the water, free of charge. We would definitely come back! There were a few things that could be improved, however... - The bees at breakfast were pretty intense. The little...

This is the quintessential Maine B & B. You could not pick a prettier location. Our room was clean, cozy and quaintly decorated. The accommodations offer beautiful views of Sullivan Harbor and provide the perfect position to watch the sunrise over the water from your bed. If you need to conduct business during your stay, there is WiFi available in...
