Spent 3 days in this beautiful wonderland. The scenery is spectacular, lush and green with the River flowing alongside. The castle dates from the 11th Century and has been beautifully and expertly restored. Walls are a metre thick and insulate the rooms. Parts are still a work in progress. The accommodation is superb. Large rooms and comfortable beds. Best nights...

We stumbled across the Chateau d"Ingrandes during our self-drive holiday in France. It turned out to be a highlight of our European adventure. We have just spent a night at the Chateau d'Ingrandes. What a wonderful experience. The chateau is so old and is being expertly renovated. Jacqueline is a warm hostess, took the time to give us a tour of her project, and provided us with an excellent breakfast. An experience not to be missed if you are in the area. Staying...
