We recently stayed at The Hounds Tooth Inn in Kennebunk, Maine with our "girls" during the Christmas Prelude Celebration. For people who like to vacation with their dogs, this is the place! Not only was host Randee most welcoming and gracious, she knows the area and where to send you. The inn in immaculate, the breakfasts outstanding, rooms lovely, and...

We stayed in the Kings Court room with our 2 dogs a scottie and westie. (Simon and Matilda). The room was spacious and comfrotable and VERY clean. The Inn Keepers were very friendly and knowledgable about all the places to visit that are dog friendly. They made us feel at home and you can tell they truly love dogs and...

This was such a find and was so glad that we took the advice of fellow trip advisors. My husband and I stayed here the first part of September and we loved it. We were attracted to this B & B because they were dog friendly and that is was rated #1 as far as B & B's in the...

We arrived late and without a reservation yet Randee and Norm greeted us with warmth and no fuss. We were immediately made to feel at home. The downstairs suite (King's Court) has two very large rooms and ensuite. It is part of the original 1843 farmhouse. The building may be old but the facilities are not. There's a large guest...

We had such an enjoyable time over a weekend with Innkeeper Randy and her husband. They are the most welcoming, endearing folks we have met in a long time. Although we did not bring our four-legged friends along, next year we definitely will! Rooms are lovely and spacious. Decor is fun. Breakfasts are the best. Thanks for a wonderful time!

The Hound's Tooth Inn and its owners Randee and Norm were all that we had hoped for and more. The restored farm property is pastoral and lovely and the rooms spacious, charming and elegant. The inn and property are both impeccably kept. Norm and Randee provided a very warm welcome and Randee's breakfast was amazing- a real treat! The conversation...

This was our first stay at the Hound's Tooth, but it certainly won't be our last. Owner's Randee and Norm understand a profound truth about pet-lovers: People tend to bond much more quickly and deeply through their dogs. The atmosphere at the inn is about as friendly as we've ever experienced anywhere. Randee knows every pet-friendly restaurant and attraction in...

My young daughters (6 & 9) and I made our first journey to Maine this past summer during a New England adventure. We only had one night there so we searched the net for the perfect spot and were so blessed to find the Hounds Tooth Inn. Although not traveling with our own pup, we LOVED that the inn welcomed...

Location: The Hounds Tooth Inn is situated perfectly just on the edge of Kennebunk's bustling downtown area and just a 2 minute drive from the world class Kennebunk beach and the tourist trap known as Kennebunkport. For People: The B&B grounds are immaculate and serene. The facilities are all upgraded but in a way so subtle that everything feels at...

This is a pleasant, convenient place run by especially nice and helpful people. Nice country setting, lovely room which was quite comfortable. Nice breakfast. We stayed in a room called "Kings Court" on the ground floor.
