Easy check in at the office. Dogs in office area but behind counter and dogs were friendly. Clean and spacious sites Park like setting. Mix of semi-permanent trailer homes and mobile rvs and cottages. Friendly and helpful staff. Laundry room and bathrooms very clean. Pool...More
Talk about perfection--every detail of Red Apple was the best. The owners couldn't have been more accommodating; the grounds couldn't have been any cleaner; the other guests couldn't have been nicer. We have never been at a campground that cared so much about making sure...More

Been camping with a group up to 8 sites every Memorial Day. Always paid in full year in advance. This year family emergency had to cancel. Told no refund campground policy. Stated I had someone to take my spot. Without telling me owner filled my...More
Dave & Jane pay attention to the details. Campground is very clean and quiet time after 8 in the evening. A truly relaxing experience. You can find free coffee in the morning and always something to do. Swim in the new pool, play bingo, borrow...More
We liked this campground very much. Prices are all high in this area. Especially liked the cooked lobsters at 5 pm daily they will bring to your campsite, just cook your sides and have some melted butter ready. Priced daily, order at the office. Very...More
I am the owner of this establishment and have NEVER had such a situation in 19 years. This review states it was a year ago this took place, yet we have never had such a discussion with anyone about a matter of this nature - not even once. The writer must have forgotten what park he was at. Do we ever make a mistake? Certainly, but when we do, not only do we make up for it and make it right, we over compensate for our mistakes, I assure you. I can only assume there was either a mistake in park name, or there is more to the story and the facts may be very different from what has been reported. I think the rest of the reviews shows what kind of management we give our customers. I am 100% certain we have not, nor would we ever overcharged someone and not make it right 110%.

I have stayed here many times and have NEVER had any problems with the facility or the owners and staff. This is a FIRST RATE location and everyone who stays here is treated like family and made to feel right at home when there. In fact, Dave and the staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. When I ran out of propane, a loaner tank was provided. I only camp at two locations - this one in Maine and one in Vermont. We like the one in Vermont, but we LOVE the Red Apple!
