It's a standard motel. But very clean. And the service is super friendly. Our room was recently remodeled. Again, very clean. All common areas were clean. Set a little ways away from town and the attractions. Continental breakfast was good. Standard. I would stay here again.

I'm so sorry you did not enjoy your stay. We do have a limited memberships program for our pools and fitness room. As we were full on that weekend, I have to assume that many of the children who were playing in the pool were guests as well as some local folks. At the beginning of the summer season, the...

We drove through town one day and really enjoyed the area, so we decided to come back in a few days and stay the night. We looked on line at a few places we had seen, but they were full. My husband came across the Rhumb line on line and we called. We really wanted to have a water view,...

We were going to a local HS graduation, and needed a place to stay without breaking the bank. The Rhumb Line fit the bill. It was clean, and spacious. We did not use the pools, but they were a good size. The woman at the Front Desk was very pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend the Rhumb Line Resort.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay. I think our staff is great, many of whom have been with the Rhumb Line for many years. We hope you can return for a longer stay some time.

Location was great, the rooms could use an update rugs were stained and beds were hard. Pool and Hot Tub could have been cleaner, Continental breakfast was average could have had more options. Overall good value for price.

Thank you for taking the time to make a comment. We are presently doing over another dozen rooms with new carpeting and bed linens, curtains, and lamps, taking a section at a time. Breakfast is simply a continental with fruit, yogurt, and a variety of breakfast breads. Another gentleman came to the front desk over the weekend to say he's...

We stayed for one night and this was a typical motel. The room was large enough and had 2 queen sized beds. Parking was close and ample. The breakfast provided was good. The biggest detractor was the age of the rooms. We were there for a wedding party so I saw several rooms. Place could use a cosmetic make over...

We are in the process of doing all rooms over and hope to accomplish this in a span of three years. As of this summer, we are hoping to get 12 more rooms completed. That will put the guest rooms at 2/3 complete. We thank you for staying with us and hope to see you again.

The rooms were okay, pretty dated, but we had a cute patio view to the pool(s). The amenities were unreal! An indoor and outdoor pool, indoor and outdoor jacuzzi, sauna, fitness center, breakfast, etc. I would recommend if you want to save money on your Kennebunkport stay and don't mind an outdated room.

Looking for rooms in hotels and resorts requires a lot of research. I spend hours researching Trip Advisor reviews, and after careful consideration despite the handful of negative reviews and opting to go by all the glowing positives, my sister and I decided to take a chance because, hey, the price was right and they had vacancies. Oh woe is...

The room that you had is admittedly showing signs of wear. It is one of the rooms scheduled for updating this spring. We hope to do 12 more rooms before this summer which will put us at 2/3 of our guest rooms updated. This particular room was used shortly after you with a guest's comment, "spacious and comfortable". Many of...

I stayed here for one night in March. The area is nice, the old homes on Route 9 heading into Kennebunkport are amazing. The motel itself was comfortable enough with duvets on the beds and clean bathrooms. I wouldn't call it a "resort" though. There was an indoor pool (open) and outdoor pool (closed) and a hot tub. Because of...

What a pleasure staying at the Rhumb Line was. I stayed this past summer and it was such a delightful and "homie" experience. The staff is more than accommodating; the rooms are a bit dated but they are clean and how much time are you spending in your room anyway? The outdoor pool always had a great fun crowd. And...
