This is a lovely stop off and a comfortable place to lay your head when you are visiting sugar loaf mountain. The small town has a couple of good restaurants and a museum of cars which is very interesting. Very rural and relaxing.

Everything about your stay here is perfect. Lisa is very accomodating. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was top notch. But best of all are the dogs, Rusty and Cisco make you feel at home. Thanx for a very pleasant stay.

This is a nice B&B with a cozy living room used by all. Bedroom was nice, we got the 2 single beds instead of a queen. Everything nice and clean. Great breakfast made to order. Easy to find right on the Main Road as you come in the city from the south. 3 pm check in.

I'm usually happy to have a place to lay my head and take a hot shower. While researching places to stay, the farm looked cozy and inviting. I was not disappointed. My room was immaculate and the bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels, washcloths and robe. If you're looking to veg in front of the television, forget it. No...

The first impression of Mountain Village Farm was of vast grounds well tended, neat buildings large and small tucked around, and a lovely gabled farm house anchoring it all. As we gathered our things from the car, we were warmly greeted by the owner, Lisa Standish. She led us past a small garden and into a clean and utterly charming...

I had a very relaxing stay at the B&B. Lisa was very personable, the breakfast was yummy, and we enjoyed a walk around the property in the morning. We arrived very late at night and Lisa had left us information about our rooms and breakfast. Thank you! FYI - My son was too tall for the shower in his room,...

We enjoyed our room in the Inn. Lisa is working hard and has an excellent property. We enjoyed the farm fresh eggs for breakfast. The coffee was absolutely delicious, best I ever had. We had travelled early and all day, so we fell into bed at 8:30 PM local time and slept til morning. The bed was comfortable, although the...

My husband and I were on a genealogy "fact finding" trip to MA, ME and NH recently and stayed with Lisa Standish. It is a wonderful, comfortable place to stay. Lisa is so knowledgeable about the area and history. She offered to take us to try to find the Beedy Cemetery on a back road. Although we had to give...

It was so much fun to be involved in your hunt for the Beedy Cemetery. It isn't often that I am afforded the opportunity to go on a field trip with my guests so our time was special. I wish you the very best and hope that California gets lots of rain soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed the house and grounds. Our host was an interesting and learned lady with an extensive knowledge of the area and it's history. We enjoyed conversation at breakfast with her and the other two guest couples. Homemade breakfast was excellent. Our room was very comfortable with great views. The evening we spent in the sitting room by the...
