Stayed 3 nights 2 in a king 1 added night in a double double. Both hotel rooms in general are very spacious but extremely outdated with furniture, wall and bath fixtures and carpet. Very visible stains on carpet in both rooms, thin walls in rooms so you can hear your neighbors. Dbl Dbl bathroom was VERY tight with no space. King was actually a handicap room so bathroom was very spacious. Location was great proximity of things to do. Price was very affordable for the area and room accommodations. Both beds were very comfortable however, pillows were very flat and almost like 10 years old down pillows. Parking is right outside your room which is also convenient. Would stay here again .... after all a hotel is for a place to sleep and sleeping in those beds where like the Hilton minus the pillows.

Check-in was quick but we had to change rooms because of the noise (They gave us the first room besides the main office facing the main road very noisy). Then we got a room in back where it's quiet . All the rooms are very big and most come with a refrigerator and a micro wave. Our fridge made some noise...Beds where wife and clean but pillows we not to par and and a little outdated un-pleasant scent. Bathroom was spacious and clean.and well equipped. The furniture was old and a bit outdated and scratched but functional. Breakfast was simple .We got some bananas as fruits on our third day of stay. The area is located just adjacent to front desk and is kept clean. During the summer, there is an outside pool. We decided to stay a forth night because of the fair weather and we had to change rooms that was situated facing the road but near the back. The furniture, although of tghe same period was less damaged by time. The upkeep was A-Ok and clean! Check-out was almost a nightmare, the person who I had seen to reserve an extra night had half done his job and the morning we left, they couldn't find our receipt for our first 3 nights. We needed that for crossing back to Canada with what we had bought. The person at the desk didn't know where to look. After a lot of explaining she finally looked in an envelope right beside her computer and everything was there... "Location location" .The main reason for booking there that you just cross the road to get to the outlets. But now there's a newer and bigger hotel in town at the entrance of the Kittery outlets. So you'll have to compare prices and decide what exactly your looking for.

Clean and cozy room. Definitely a motel so nothing fancy but very comfortable. The 24 hour coffee and tea were nice. Breakfast was simple but good. Check in was efficient and courteous. You could hear people when they walked by the door. I would return

The location of this hotel is very convenient to all things offered in Kittery and adjoining towns. The room was very large with 2 queen beds, 2 chairs and a table, a desk, fridge, etc. They offer pet friendly rooms. The rooms are reasonably priced. They have 24 hour coffee available and also include a breakfast. The one issue that I have a problem with, is the stains all over the sheets and bedspread -- gross in my opinion... Just buy some new ones already!

Thank you for the review. We apologize for the unclean bedding. For future reference, we can always replace any dirty sheets and bedspreads if you ask for new ones, but we're sorry you had to deal with this issue in the first place. Otherwise, we're glad you enjoyed your stay, and we hope you'll stay with us again.

Honestly, I had no problem with my hotel room. It was clean and spacious. It had a fridge, microwave, a nice shower, a comfortable bed, quiet air conditioning, good tv, etc. The hotel is conveniently located near the outlets and a short distance from Portsmouth, has an outdoor pool, a nice continental breakfast in the lobby, and has parking right outside the rooms. My issue was that I booked my room through a 3rd party website, and apparently the hotel had made a mistake when entering the room rate for that night. So before I got to the hotel the manager left me a series of strange voicemail messages, and when I got there the check-in person tried to charge me a higher room rate instead of the one I had booked. I would have probably met them in the middle and paid more if I hadn't reserved the room through a 3rd party site. But when the front desk guy got the manager on the phone to "make a deal" and told me it was a booking agent from the website (a lie) that's when I lost it. Admit your mistake, admit who you are, and don't try to deceive the customer, ever. And definitely don't try to give me a guilt trip by saying that you will "have to pay my share out of your own pocket." No, no, and NO. After a heated debate, the manager ended up honoring the rate I booked, but I spent the night there with one eye open and will not be coming back. It's a shame, because Kittery is a cute place and this hotel is decent aside from the lacking customer service.

Sorry for your inconvenience regarding your 3rd party reservation. We do not change any rate that you get when you book your reservation through third party .It's come to our system directly from them. Never heard anything like that we change the rate. Anyway thank you for your feedback.
