When I walked into my room, I sighed with pleasure. The room was large with an historic feel. The bed was large with lots of pillows and a fluffy duvet. The bathroom was well appointed with a modern shower and huge towels. From the inn, I could easily walk to restaurants.

Response from Julie B, Owner at The Inn at Schoppee Farm

Hi Patty, we are happy you enjoyed your stay with us at the farm. Between guests being out on wonderful local adventures and Maureen, David and I in and out throughout the day during regular office hours we regretfully often miss being able to spend much time with our guests. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Please come again soon.

The room was lovely, on the river with windows and sunset views on two sides. We booked a room here after reading glowing reviews about the warmth and hospitality and needed a place after hiking Wass Island Preserve. We booked an inn looking for an inn experience in a place with

We had reserved one night here and then were stranded by Hurricane Irma. We were able to add 2 more nights. The owners Julie and David and manager Maureen could not have been more generous and helpful in our time of need. It is nice to know that good people do exist. The Farm

This Inn is one of the best hotels in which I have stayed. The rooms are a little quirky and odd shaped, but they are large and nicely done. The rooms have many windows and any breezes are easily caught. The firepit is a wonderful place to have a happy hour.

Is there still a loft over the barn? If so, details?
At this time our guest house which is over the barn is booked monthly until November 2015. We do have three other lovely rooms on the second floor of the farm. All rooms have wonderful river view. Thank you for your inquiry and we hope to hear from you soon.

"Only 3-4 rooms and all fine"
"All the rooms are great."
"The two-bedroom suite is sandwiched between two other rooms - and you can hear the neighbors through the doors - I'd recommend the room at the end (The Burnham Room)"
"Our choice was the 2 bedroom room. It worked great for us."
"one of the rooms was actually a suite with 2 separate bedrooms which worked well, there are stairs which might be difficult for some people."
