Spent the nights here before and after hiking Katahdin. Exactly what I was expecting: no frills, a clean room, comfortable bed, hot shower, and TV. The muffins, which I hadn't expected were great. I was solo but there were two beds in my cabin. My bed could have accommodated two, however. The owner/manager was very helpful re places to have dinner...

We booked for the night after arriving in to Boston from the UK and before hiking Katahdin. The cabins were simple, clean and all we needed for the night. The muffins were delicious, and very welcome for a jet-lagged family. another treat were the wild blueberries in the woodland behind the cabins.

Check in was good, people running it very friendly, cabin was clean. Not what I expected and rating is due to that more than what the cabins were like. Expected it to be more of a woodsy setting, which is really outside of Millinocket, which optimistically was close to food and gas sources. Bathroom in cabin 8 was very tight...

These are small, but efficient and CLEAN cabins. We stayed on night for a wedding reception and wished we would have booked for two nights. Our cabin (Number 2) was quaint and very clean. Perfect for two people. The grounds were well kept and the owners were very friendly. Would definitely stay there again and recommend them to anyone who...

Cabins were very cute little yellow cabins in a country setting, we were provided with complimentary fresh baked cookies and pastries both days. our cabin was small but cozy, had fridge and microwave, did not lack anything. We loved it. Only negative was the water switched a bit between hot and cold in shower.

No, this isn't the place to come if you are looking for trendy decor, full amenities, keyless entry or a hot tub. However, it was perfect for our nights before and after hiking Katahdin. Basic, clean accommodations - a mini fridge in one BR and a microwave in the other. The grocery store is very convenient for purchasing food supplies...

We stayed before and after our climb on Mount Katahdin. The rates were reasonable, and the location provides convenient access to both town and the access road to Baxter State Park. There is a Hannaford's market just down the main road, so you can stock up on whatever you need. The cabins themselves were just what we needed, nothing more...

In April, our family of 4 booked a 2-room cabin for the July 4th week-end. While the proprietor was nice on the phone, it took me several attempts to receive a confirmation that we were booked; that should have been a clue. When we arrived on our confirmed date, tired after a long travel day, Surprise! - they could not...

This place is exactly what we hoped for after a day of hiking, being an inexpensive, clean cabin to rest and recuperate. It does not have many frills, but who needs them? Sleep well and enjoy muffins!

Clean and perfect for our needs. A little pricey for what it is. Owner was very friendly on the phone. I grew up here and it was nice to see someone running these little cabins. They are close to everthing and allowed us to have our dog.
