I was recently at this property for a conference my husband attended. Took my bathing suit just in case. The outside pool was indeed open and I used it repeatedly - 89 degrees in the pool, 102 in the hot tub and the most glorious venue - underneath one of the Sunday River ski lifts with a view of the...

We recently "discovered" this gem right under our noses. Had a group for lunch and were very surprised at the great food and the reasonable price, plus good service in the unusual and almost cozy setting. We live here, but had no idea this restaurant was here until someone told us about it. We ordered the smoked turkey with maple...

I stayed at the Grand Summit with my two kids over New Year's Eve weekend. The lobby has been renovated, but the remainder of the hotel is stuck in the 90's. The rooms are bare bones for the price...just dpesn't seem like it's a priority, or it may be part of a larger strategic plan. There is a restaurant on...

Skiing in was a problem. The slope near the hotel was not open which prohibited you from being able to ski in to your resort. Skiing out was OK and doable. It was kind of tough to get back to the hotel because you had to walk up half the slope to get there or take a shuttle. The resort...

This was a very nice room, with plenty of room to move around. Table with chairs for those card games. Free local paper and USA news. Hint: The TV guide is the 2nd page of the hotel book. It would be hard to figure our without it. The entrance is in the corner of the L. It was little hard...

Although this place has a four star rating, those reviewing must never have stayed here during off-season. Am attending an annual convention and from the time we entered out room, with a MURPHY BED ( are you kidding me?) with no way to lie in bed to view the television on the other side of the room (not directly opposite...

We spent three nights at the Grand Summit at Sunday River in March 2016. This is a condo / hotel property where owners are there along with guests staying in a hotel atmosphere. The Grand Summit located slope side which makes it a great place to stay if you are skiing (which we were). We checked in and found the...

Recently stayed here for a conference and overall found the stay quite pleasant. Staff stood out and helped make this a four-star review - exceptionally friendly and helpful, seemed to want nothing more than for you to have a great stay. The hotel itself was pretty dated and could do with some updating. Rooms were relatively spacious, though the beds...

I stayed at this hotel this past weekend for a wedding. When we first called to make the reservation, we were told check-in time was at 6PM even though the website says 4PM. We explained we were going to wedding and were told try to ask the day of...not easy when you're a 3-4 hour drive away and trying to...

Pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Grand Summit hotel. Booked it through RCI as a 2 star resort but the hotel is nicer than that. It has a nice chalet feel in the lobby. Rooms are a little dated but very spacious and had a nice little deck to air/dry out the ski gear. Nice heated outdoor pool and...
