We stayed here 2 nights in our New England tour and it is beautiful. Big room with balcony facing the trees in their Fall colours. Very nice "Camp" restaurant, buffet breakfast and choice of menu for dinner, quite reasonable. The swimming pool and hot tub are wonderful - outdoor but heated, steaming, and surrounded by trees and the chairlifts up...

Very nice resort in the summer if you like outdoor activities. Did not find it "dated" as some have mentioned. Looks like a mountain lodge/resort and well, that's what it is. Very clean and comfortable rooms* with kitchenette and flat screen TV's. Wifi is spotty, but I was able to work in the evenings. Cell reception is terrible (AT&T). PROS:...

This was smy 3rd visit here in the last 10 years. The comfort level of this place is dependant bigtime on the season that you visit there. Thier climate control in the rooms leaves much to be desired. Coffee in the camp sucks, but the food is GREAT. I had a 3rd floor suite/balcony. The door handle/lock on the door...

Stayed two nights at the Grand Summit in a hotel room with kids. The hotel rooms don't have a fridge or a microwave and our heater was a little loud, but we had a private deck and could see the trail and chairlift from our deck. Otherwise the stay was nice, the location is great, the pool and hot tub...

We stayed at the hotel for a week. The location is great for ski in/ski out. The staff is fabulous and are eager to help. The prices for simple items are Disney prices so bring lots of money. The hotel is very dated and needs a good overhaul.

Just finished our annual stay at the Grand Summit. We have been coming here from the UK for the past 8 years and we love the place. As ever the service has been really good and the snow was fab. However, whilst it has been great to see the investment in snow making and extra ski area, it really is...

Grand Summit hotel at Sunday River is great. We stayed in a Studio Supreme on the first floor and it could not have been better. We had a kitchen where we made lunch and dinner, and a door and small deck where we could see skiers. The ski in and out is perfect, you are literally 50 feet from the...

I spent a week at the grand summit hotel for a scientific conference. The place is very remote (4 hours from Boston airport), in the mountains. The rooms are big but the beds could be better. For a conference hotel, I would have expected a bigger desk in the room. The table was very small and used for the cups,...

I attended a scientific conference here last week. A bit remote for an international conference, but that's not the fault of the Grand Summit. As I have limited walking mobility, I asked for a room that was convenient to the elevator, the restaurant and the conference room. Since the restaurant and conference room were at opposite ends of the very...

We stayed a week at Grand Summit at Sunday River through an RCI exchange. Keep in mind...RCI members pay for their maintenance fees at their home resort, pay for the exchange itself...and then I was informed at check in that we would pay a $244 HOUSEKEEPING FEE. I have never had to do such a thing in all the time...
