Such a lovely B&B with warm and friendly hosts. Ken and Sally are delightful. It's located in the perfect place to break up a trip from Northern Maine going south, or if you want to check out Ogunquit and Perkins Cove, but not pay super high rates. It's only 15 minutes to Ogunquit and the Marginal Way beach walk. Breakfast...

This reviewer is incredibly perceptive. No, we are not located amidst the tourist turmoil of Route 1. But, if you take the extra 15 minutes to enjoy a scenic drive, you can stay in an incredible Victorian mansion at a rate that is significantly below Route 1 rates. Thank you for your kind words and generous praise. Plus, we are...

My Wife have stayed at the Angel of the Berwicks many times and we have never been disappointed. Sally's breakfasts and Ben's hospitality are the primary reasons we choose to stay here when we visit the Ogunquit area. They have become good friends and they make our stay enjoyable each and every visit. With so many visits over the years,...

A satisfying experience is always a two-way street with both the innkeeper and guest contributing in a positive way. This reviewer and his wife are always delightful guests who we look forward to hosting each time they come. Hopefully, many people will see this review and our "gem" will be hidden no longer.

My husband and I recently stayed at Angel of the Berwicks. We arrived near the end of the check in window and were warmly greeted by Ben. Ben answered many questions and shared historical information about the beautiful Hurd Manor. Our hosts were very gracious when we had an unfortunate wine spill, even calling us while we were out the...

In the area to participate in a friends gathering. We decided to stay at the B&B. Ben & Sally are very warm & friendly people, making the stay personable. It is a beautiful Victorian Mansion, very true to form to the period. Sally puts on a great breakfast! Would stay there again & recommend to anyone looking for an affordable...

Thank you for noticing our B&B is "very true to form to the period." You are very perceptive. Hardly anything has changed since the mansion was built in 1893. The exception is that we now have very modern bathrooms. And, oh yes, there is air conditioning in the summer. Sally and I enjoyed hosting you. Please come back soon.

I can't begin to explain just how beautiful Angel of Berwicks really is. It is THE best Bed and Breakfast I have ever stayed in. It was well worth the flight from the UK just to live in Ben and Sally's beautiful home. I had an amazing stay and hope to be returning later this year. Thank you so much!

Sounds a little strange I am sure, but I needed a get away to complete my qualifying paper for doctoral study. I found Angel online and could see myself holed up in a comfy room and being perfectly happy with my laptop and a crate of books and research articles. I was so comfortable I think I could have slept...

Thank you for writing so many nice things about our inn. Angel of the Berwicks has four large rooms that are open to all our guests at any time. The library, parlor, day room and dining room are all in nearly original condition and make wonderful gathering places for just and intimate conversation or an entire group.
