Pay close attention when booking your room since we stayed there for the first time and didn't read the entire confirmation pdf file sent. If you booked rooms at the The Sea Cliff House they are located across the street from the main office, pool & BBQ areas and there is NO parking lot behind that building . They will let you park in front of the office just to unload and you have to carry everything across a busy street . Be very careful crossing the street especially with children as folks speed and don't always stop. You then have to park your car in the lot behind the office of the Harbor House . Rooms #404,405, 406 are located in the front of the building . But if your room is #411 it's behind the building and you have to walk up a flight of stairs and then there's another flight of stairs to the kitchen fyi the entrance is a slider door, They didn't show the photos on the website of this particular room so I included them. This can be a challenge if carrying a heavy cooler or heavy luggage etc . We had a nice 2 bed room suite w a sleeper sofa upstairs with kitchenette . It's great for family of 4, but I probably won't choose the 2 floors next time and the AC units were very loud. It's convenient 2 min walk to trolley stop next door to Roberto's Restaurant and across the street from a cute florist /shop Calluna, but not as convenient if you want to walk to Ogunquit beach ( 25 minutes ) especially if lugging beach equipment etc. It's about 10 minute walk to Perkins Cove and roughly 35 minute round trip walk to Perkins Cove back on the Marginal Way by tennis courts entrance at Sparhawk resort. Most folks just walk to to avoid the expensive parking rates in Perkins Cove . Parking at Ogunquit beach is $25 and only by credit card. This hotel has a real key not a key card, so they will charge you $50 if you lose it.

Hotel's Favourite
What a great place with nice people and a friendly vibe! I didn't make a reservation... Walked in and they had a room available for me. I was by myself and stayed one night. The staff at the hotel was so nice and wonderful. My interaction with the front desk was a lovely experience. And, I could see the manager (?) cleaning off the outdoor tables early in the morning to make everything nice in the event guests wanted to sit outside. My room was spotless and smelled of fresh laundry! The bed was huge (king) and very comfortable. The location is perfect - you can walk to Barnacle Billy's (Perkins Cove) in about 10 minutes and you can access Marginal Way minutes from the hotel as well. You can also walk to Ogunquit's "Main Street." The property was extremely well taken care of, clean, and up to date. The price was also very good. When I walked in and let them know how much I was interested in paying, they said they had a room for me at the price and it was on par with the lowest prices in the area at that time. I had stayed at another hotel for one night; it was the same price, but not as nice as my suite at Sea Rose. I also had a lovely little balcony. Highly recommend!

We were in town for the weekend celebrating a friends birthday. Our suite had both a king bedroom and half bathroom upstairs and another bedroom downstairs with 2 beds. The main floor had a full bath and pullout couch. We had a deck off the upstairs bedroom as well as the main level. The suite was immaculate and the beds were very comfortable. The grounds were meticulously maintained, the grills and outdoor tables were spotless and the outdoor pool was the perfect temperature. The location was ideal as we could walk to Perkins cove, marginal way, downtown and to the beach. The trolley stop is also easily accessible from just outside the hotel. Lilly was on staff and is so incredibly kind and helpful. She truly made our experience at the Sea Rose exceptional! So much so that we personally went in to thank her prior to our departure. She gave us a list of restaurant options and ideas for our fun weekend. She also happened to be the one that answered lots of questions via phone as well. Thank you Lilly for your kindness! Some great restaurants near the hotel are Java Coffee & tea in Perkins Cove. They have awesome coffee and baked goods. Jonathan’s restaurant was out of this world good and within walking distance from the hotel (reservations needed). The Front Porch piano bar and lounge was also very good! The service at the local businesses and restaurants is phenomenal. Everyone is just genuinely friendly and helpful. Another reason to love Maine!

Sea Rose has a great location, imaculate This location is great. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and Lois and Lily have been very helpful with everything, and the rest of the staff is friendly and caring with their guests. They have offered a local opinion on the best places to go, as well as directions . Our stay was for six nights, and it was perfect. We will be back!!!

We have been coming here since 2008. My dad joins us on the trip in a separate room (my mom is gone now, and she used to come as well). We stay in the Harbour House. Rooms are immaculate and there was a kitchenette. I like that the bedroom is a real room with a door separate from the living room/eating area. There are two pools, one indoor and outdoor. There is coffee and tea in the lobby. The staff are so friendly and a major plus for why we choose this location year after year. You can walk to the Cove and catch the trolley nearby.
