There are different types of accomodations at the Marginal Way House. We stayed in a room in a small building with a nice outdoor seating area right on the water. The room was well appointed with nice amenities. The location could not be better. The ocean outside your door and the center of town two minutes away.

We have been coming here for long weekends every Summer over a great many years and last year we stayed at the motel section for the first time. We loved it and were able to reserve the same unit one year ahead of time last Summer. This year do far we have had one large and several small issues. The...

We enjoyed staying for a week at the Wharf house. It is the 2nd year straight staying at the Wharf house. Great location and a wonderful view of the beach and ocean from our deck in Room 201. The Wifi is slow but it does work and we were able to make phone calls without to much problem. We could...

It's always a pleasure to stay at the Marginal Way House. This was our first visit of 2016, and we were pleased to note the new stairs leading up to the main house from the parking lot--what a great improvement! As usual, our stay was very easy and without stress. We stayed in room 15, which is on the top...

Loved our stay here, thank you!!! Wonderful property, 5 min walk to the beach and right around the corner from the main "drag" and marginal way. Our room 104 was newly remodeled, very clean and mostly comfortable. Mattresses could be improved :). The property is has beautiful views of the ocean.

We've been staying at the Marginal Way House for 10+ years and love everything about it with one exception....no connectivity. It is hard to believe that in 2016 you can stay anywhere and not be connected but the wifi service here is nonexistent.

Back to the Marginal Way house. We've been coming here for over 40 years, and still love it. Many new improvements this year (new stairs to the main house, the dead pine tree is gone (Yay!), and an improved parking lot with assigned spots. Beautiful new landscaping and stonework everywhere. The renovated Wharf House and Carriage House are tremendous improvements over...

We stayed in room 112, a small room on the third floor with a magnificent view. It was worth the 2 flights spiral flights of stairs to get there and be able to look directly out to the ocean. The location is very convenient-park your car in their parking lot and never touch it again (and given the bumper to...

It helped that the weather was perfect, but we (my son and I) couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. We stayed in the main house in room 110, a basic but lovely and comfortable room. The location was ideal, downtown, overlooking Ogunquit beach. The actual entrance to the beautiful beach is about a 1/4 mile or so walk away. Surprisingly, the...
