This is absolutely the best place for an Acadia vacation. The hosts are fun, informative, and feel like family. We will recommend this place to everyone! It is ten minutes from downtown Bar Harbor and five minutes gem Sieur de Mints Acadia entrance.

We are repeat visitors to the Inn. First time in a cabin and loved it. Having a separate bedroom and kitchen area it was more costly as one might expect. There was a buy 2 nights get one free incentive that led us to the door! There was nothing missing...even supplied a corkscrew. Wi-fi is complimentary and had reception all...

A group of 6 of us stayed at the Otter Creek Inn & Cabins end of July. The rooms and cabins are very clean and comfortable and both equipped with a refrigerator which was very handy. Can't say enough about the staff who were very accomodating and happy which is always good to see. The Market is well stocked and...

Great Place! Our gracious host Randy, the Inn Keeper, greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. I was traveling with my sister, four friends and two dogs. Each of our rooms were very clean and comfortable. The décor in each of our rooms was unique and homey, some with lovely antique furniture. The beds...

I have stayed at the Otter Creek Inn two different times. Once in one of the cottages and once in the Inn. Both stays were excellent. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to make your visit special. The rooms were clean with very comfortable beds and had all the amenities we needed including space heaters, fans,...

The Inn is very charming. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable as well. There...

Otter Creek Inn is the perfect place to stay if you want old inn charm in a perfect location. We recently stayed in room number 6, the end room on the upper level. The room was nicely decorated with a very comfortable king size bed with new linens and a nice size bathroom with walk-in square shower. This is a...

Nicely decorated, simple rooms with WiFi, TV and plumbing that works. There was no maid service while we were there but the price is right, the continental breakfast served (included) in the adjacent store is...

The Otter Creek Market (attached to the Inn) is my point of focus of this review. It is a safe-haven in what could otherwise be a daunting task of camping. The Market takes the "roughing it" out of camping for those of us who are just getting our feet wet. It offers greek yogurts, chardonnay, smores fixings, pizza-to-go, camping pillows,...

If you want posh and elegant, go to Bar Harbor. But if you want a friendly, quiet, simple, down-to-earth Inn with a wonderful local feel about it, stay at the Otter Creek Inn. It is near everything you want to see and do on Mount Desert Island. If it is very hot, it is not a good place to stay,...
