The Inn was what we needed for our one night stay in Port Clyde. Like others have said, there is no TV or air conditioning but for us none was needed. The room was small but nicely decorated. The breakfast at the General Store was delicious.

The Seaside was a happy surprise on our trip out to Monhegan Island. It is directly across the street from the ferry dock so getting the ferry to the island couldn't be easier. Pretty room, but could use some softer pillows. Breakfast was served temporarily in the general store across the street due to renovations, but it was great. It...

My wife and I stayed at Seaside Inn last Saturday night. Our room was Room 2 "across the street" at what used to be the Ocean House Hotel but is now Seaside's annex. It was a great room! Light and airy, two very comfy Queen beds, charming claw tub shower, and easy access to an outside second level porch overlooking...

Thanks for the lovely review! We have just recently opened seven of the rooms in the Ocean House Hotel, and it's great to hear how comfortable you found your room. I agree, sitting on the porch of the Ocean House watching the sunset over the harbor is just a bit magical! We look forward to seeing you again in August!

We stayed two nights in the quarterdeck . A couple of things to know . There is no tv in the room. There is no air conditioning ..not that you need it . Breakfast is across the street at the town general store. It was all fine....just something to know. The town closes down at 9pm so don't plan on...

Thank you staying with us and for taking the time to write a review. We hope you'll be back again soon, and when you do, you'll be surprised to find a tv in your room! (If you book the Quarter Deck). We will have tv's in 4 of our rooms before the end of the month. You are so right...

If you are looking for a clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay on the Maine coastline, then definitely stay at the Seaside Inn. This place is absolutely gorgeous. There are many landmarks around the area including beautiful lighthouses. The people are wonderful, and the food is fantastic!

We got there the weekend before the Inn closes for winter, so there were only two other rooms occupied. Stayed one night in the Captain's Cabin - lovely! The air was cool outside, but we were able to open the windows and hear the ocean and get a nice breeze. We arrived late evening, and it was so convenient to...

We stayed at the Seaside Inn the night before we caught the ferry to Monhegan. Great views of the harbor. Cool old Captain's home. Generous breakfast. Reasonable priced. Very clean. 150' feet from where you catch the ferry.

We spent the weekend at this B&B and had a lovely stay. Breakfast both mornings were quite enjoyable. They offer a breakfast special that changed each morning. The 2 days we stayed there were biscuits with sausage gravy the first morning and eggs benedict the next. They also offered two different type of quiche each morning along with cereals, oatmeal,...

We just spent two enjoyable 'get away' nights at this B&B. It is right in the middle of Port Clyde within eyesight at easy walking distance of the waterfront. For us it was a very comfortable & relaxing place to stay for our day trip trip to Monhegan Island, and then to explore this specific coast area of Maine. The...

I guess we had become spoiled by the charming reception we had received at The Moorings and at The Town and Country in NH! We did not have reservations, so walked in. The "Manager" and her assistant were chopping onions for the Enchilladas they were serving that night at The Barn next door. We felt as if were intruding on...
