We have been to Portland a number of times and love the city but thought it was time for the homier feeling of a B and B over a brand name hotel. Pretty much at random we selected the Chadwick from on line listings. This gamble was a true winner. From the friendly and competent way the phone reservation was...

This is a wonderful bed & breakfast! My husband and I recently stayed here from a Sunday to Tuesday and it was a great experience. Very elegant and cozy atmosphere. Our room was the smallest of the four rooms, but it didn’t even matter because it was down a private hallway with a large private bathroom across the hall. The...

My fiance and I had a wonderful experience at the Chadwick B&B. I spoke with Scott and Matt before our visit and made a request to have champagne and roses in our room. When we walked in, sure enough, we found a beautiful boquet and some Brut on ice. Breakfast was delicious. Saturday morning: omelettes, home fries, and fresh fruit....

As a traveler, location and price us everything. The Chadwicks met all of my expect ions and more. Breakfast was perfect every morning. Coffee was available always. I don't sleep well anywhere, so it was important for me to have a place to read without disturbing others, the downstairs common area was perfect.

We recently stayed for two weekday nights at the Chadwick B&B and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our queen-size bedroom offered a perfectly comfortable bed, plenty of room to move around, a large bathroom with shower and plenty of outlets to plug in our electronics. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully prepared by Matthew on one day and the innkeeper,...

We stayed for one night in room 1. It was very comfortable and quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable. Scott made us feel welcome and made a delicious breakfast. It was a perfect mix of personal and welcoming but with as much privacy as we wanted. Would highly recommend this B&B.

The Inn itself is a beautiful old home that has been well kept and is nicely appointed. It is just a short (less than 5 minutes) drive to a downtown that can keep you occupied for days. The room we had in the inn was fantastic and even though there was a booking issue due soley on my part, the...

My boyfriend and I recently stayed for 2 nights and we had a perfect time! The room was large with a nice, most comfortable bed and fireplace. We were able to relax in our room or in the living room - both which were very private even though all the other rooms were booked. Breakfast was worth waking up for...

My new husband and I came to honeymoon at the Chadwick and by some computer error, we had only booked one night, rather than 4. As soon as the owner Scot found out, he booked us for a second night, but couldn't get us additional nights because they were fully booked. He found us a night at another inn nearby...

Stayed for three nights during the beginning of January.Myself and fiancé arrived at the beginning of the 'polar vortex'. Scott welcomed us and made us feel at home instantaneously. Working hard to clear the drive of snow and allow resident parking he stopped what he was doing to give us a thorough tour of the B and B and escort...
