Stayed here for the price. Arrived late to airport and driving north next morning so just needed a bed. Close to airport but very hard to find. Even when you see the sign from a distance, it disappears and you can't find the hotel! The hotel sorely needs a renovation. The staff we ran into were very nice, accommodating, and...

Stayed for a night with my wife for an excursion to Portland. Compared to the price of the hotels downtown. This served it's purpose. I can't see paying 300+ a night. If you're in Portland..you won't be sitting in your hotel room that much. The Clarion was ok. Not great by any means but ok. Could use a reno. And...

I had read a number of reviews on this hotel and was a little upset that I received this one as my "bid". But the deal was right so we went. We are familiar with the Portland, but if you are from out of town, it is tucked away behind the mobile station and a little hard to find. When...

Great Hotel in Portland Maine...walk to DownEaster AMTRAK and Concord Bus Lines; inexpensive taxi (ABC; Patrick) to the Old Port and Casco Bay. Stayed many, many times in winter and spring. Great price...nicely appointed rooms....many amenities (pool, breakfast/lunch, etc). Great staff....very accommodating. A pleasant experience... Jeff_of_NH (aka Dodge_charger_43)

Nothing fancy, seemed a little pricey, but had great service and brought up an air mattress for my son. Had 2 double beds. A/C unit was wall unit and pretty loud when cycled on. No airport noise noted. Stayed one night.

When my dad was a ICU patient at Maine Medical, they referred us to the Clarion. The staff, especially Mary at the front desk and the waitstaff at breakfast were just the best. We will be coming back, but next time without the hospital excitement.

This hotel was filthy inside and out. There was dirt built up in the corners in the bathroom and the windows were dirty. The hallways and elevator were also dirty, not sure if they ever vacuumed them. One elevator did not work at all and the other didn't go to the 5th floor for over a day. At 69 years...

Our room was clean and comfortable, we stayed 2 nights and found it convenient to drive to places we wanted to see in Portland. Staff was helpful and friendly. Restaurant in hotel is Ok but we found better in town, altho you do have to drive.

This was a great hotel to stay at, once we found it. Conveniently located. It's not the hotel's fault the city or state put in some horrible rotaries and signage. Thought I was just fine on Congress Street until it became a one way. I was less than 1/2 mile from the hotel and it took me 20 minutes to...

We were just here for a night after a conference in Portland. The location puts it close enough to downtown Portland that it's a very quick drive/bus/cab to get there, but not so close that you're stuck in traffic and can't park. The iced tea/cookies/water on the way in were a nice touch after a very long drive to get...
