My husband and I agree that our stay at Loon Lodge in Rangeley was a highlight of our exploration of Maine. The staff are warm and welcoming, the food was excellent, and room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely return soon!

Stayed in the Olympic room, great room, but our favorite part is the fireplace lounge area and the pub. Rebecca in the pub is great and the glass never went empty. Johanne did an awesome job helping with the reservations for our group and being understanding as the weather impacted our plans. This was was our 4th time at the...

We stayed at Loon Lodge Inn at the end of a 9-day snowmobiling trip in VT, NH and ME, We checked in early and Judy, the housekeeper, showed us to our room. Judy seemed nice, efficient and no-nonsense. The other woman who was occasionally at the front desk, whose name I do not know because she never bothered to introduce...

The room was lovely, beds very comfortable, friendly staff. The food was delicious with pub and dining room menus. Really 5 star quality cuisine. We ate on the back deck overlooking loon lake and had morning coffee sitting on the dock. The bar tender was great and are drinks were strong. No cutting corners at this hotel. It is within driving...

Stayed 3 nights of 10 on the road for a leaf peeper trip. Of all the hotels, this place had the most comfortable bed and, bar none, was the cleanest. If must have a tv in room, this place isn't for you, although there is one in the Pub. Lobby has comfy chairs and couches with huge fieldstone fireplace with...

How in the world could we offer up a three for this place which, at first blush, is simply lovely. A brief stroll across a well manicured lawn and you're lakeside...in October, probably anytime, breath taking. The facility is spanking clean, old woods lodge feel (knotty pine everywhere, huge stone fireplace, comfy lounge.) Rooms are clean, and though I don't...

Very upset with Loon Lodge! The manager on duty would not allow our service dog! We even showed our service dog papers and still she would not change her mind. She was not friendly. The Rangeley Inn was very friendly and welcomed our service dog. We had a great room over looking the lake.

I've been coming to Rangeley with my family for 15+ years. We've been to the Loon Lodge once before - and we will be back! My salad (the Loon Lodge salad) was one of the best salads I've ever had anywhere! I didn't know what to expect with the pappardelle in a cream sauce, which was all house-made, but it...

We were fortunate enough to get a table on the pubside deck with a beautiful view of the lake. The service was prompt, attentive and helpful throughout our meal. We both started off with salads, a seasonal salad with greens, feta, nuts and cranberries for me and a caesar for my husband---they were the best salads we ate all week...

We stayed here when the restaurant and pub were closed and only one other guest was in the Inn. So no one was around...in fact you had to enter with a code cause no one was at front desk. However the rooms were rustic and nice and the view from the lawn, spectacular. So I'd stay here again...would love to...
