My wife and I stayed two nights at the Rangeley Inn. The room was neat and well appointed. The architecture of the Inn recalls the 19 th Century while offering the amenities of the 21 st Century. The staff of the Inn are friendly and accommodating. The food served in the Inn's Tavern is quite exceptional. Chef Jim Fargo ranks...

Just returned from overnight trip to the Rangeley Inn and general area. The main building is just wonderful, like stepping back in time. Well preserved furniture and various main floor rooms. You can just feel the history and fun that generation gone by had. We stayed in the newer section as the main building was full. Room was great ,...

We stayed in the new part which faces the water. Breathtaking views and beautiful flowers planted everywhere. We got to see and enjoy the ducks which came up looking for some food. We were very relaxed, the rooms were quiet and comfortable. It's within walking distance of everything in town, including dining and shopping. I hope I make it back...

The room was comfortable, big and attractive. Located in the heart of Rangeley, you are in walking distance to other restaurants. It is a old historic inn with all of the modern comforts. The only problem was the front desk they need to smile more and welcome quest when they arrive.

This is a nice spot to overnight in Rangeley. Friendly people, decent rooms and the tavern is great for drinks or dinner. Our suite featured a whirlpool bath and big, clean bathroom and a nice balcony. Located right downtown this is a great location.

Fantastic getaway. Can't wait to go back to enjoy the Halley Pond and Rangeley Lake on kayak or paddle board. Stayed at the waterfront room (#108) that was quiet and quaint. Relax by the pond adirondack chairs with a nice glass of wine. Love waking up in the morning with nice a cup of coffee on the porch and enjoy...

Beautiful historic inn in the heart of a very sleepy town on our visit July 12. Room was very clean and classy. Some modern touches but still a throwback to a completely different time(i.e. game room, sprawling porch and a phone booth). We enjoyed a complimentary breakfast . You can walk to the town beach or ice cream. We did...

We had the bestest dinner in the Rangeley Inn Lounge ...... . The food prepared by SUPER CHEF Jim Fargo , worthy of super numerary status . Had seasonal salads . Strawberries , local bittery greens and tender veggies with a miso dressing ! A revelation !! Then his handmade gnocchi carbonara plus an egg !! Unctuous , savory and...

Having been here 16 years ago for my wedding reception, my wife and I were in need of an overnight stay for a funeral. We went back to the Rangeley Inn and were pleasantly surprised by the improvements by the new owners since our last visit. The rooms have new baseboard heat and individual air conditioners, recently installed on demand...

This is a wonderful historic inn located in a great mountain lake town. We stayed in the separate motel unit on the pond with recently renovated rooms. Very nicely done with a top notch king size bed and two comfortable chairs and a bureau. A mini fridge is also convenient. A private balcony overlooks the pristine pond. This inn is...
