We were traveling by motorcycle from Bar Harbor and had gotten rained out that morning and couldn't make it as far as our original reservation so we ending up having to make a last minute reservation for Ripples. We literally made a day-of reservation and the host said we would be charged 10% extra for a 1-night stay (vs. 2+)....

You start with an authentic New England B &B just 1 block from all the main street restaurants, attractions and harbor. We had a family group of ten that would have overwhelmed most accommodations. The establishment was clean and quaint. Sandy served us great food heaped with her personal hospitality. She allowed us to extend our stay before and after...

My wife and I (both in our late 60s) stayed here for two nights at the end of a 14 day sailboat trip from Maryland to Maine. We arrived off the boat on a very windy and rainy day. Sandi, the Inn keeper, welcomed us warmly (turning on the stove in the living room and pouring us a glass of...

Arrived around 500pm to find Sandi cooking dinner. She welcomed us in as if we were friends. Our room was immaculate and vibrant. The bay is a 2 minute walk away, and you can walk along the water on a boardwalk. Quiet and majestic. The inn was quiet for the night. Breakfast was an array of fresh fruit and lemon...

My husband and I spent 7 nights at Ripples Inn, having selected it based on easy walking distance to the home of an ill family member. The Inn exceeded expectations in every way, from quality of the breakfast to the comfort of the rooms. We loved the scones and organic fruit for breakfast. It's an easy walk to Rock City...

My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night so that we could eat at Primo just down the road. Sandi and her dogs were very welcoming and the garden room was perfect. In particular I loved the pillows on the bed - I wish I had remembered to ask her where she got them! Everything was very clean...

My wife and I stayed only 1 night at the Ripples-Inn and, after a wonderful time with Sandi and the dogs, I wish we had stayed for a longer period. Sandi was an excellent hostess, the room clean and comfortable, the Havanese dogs were delightful, and the breakfast wonderful. We stayed in the Beach Room with a "small" shower which...

What an AWESOME find for me!! I wanted to experience something different for a few days, and had always liked the thought of Maine. So I came up on December 20, 2013 for a few days to get away from things. What a GREAT choice! The innkeepers name was Marilyn. She was standing in for the owner who was away...
