" Two roads diverged in a wood and I I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference" R.Frost My wife and I stayed at Mountain Spring Farm B&B for two grand fall days in Rumford. The setting is rural and appreciably secluded. Our stay was preceded by a visit to Frost's home site and...

My boyfriend and I visited Mountain Spring Farm B&B in mid-August 2014 and we had a fantastic stay. Anne and Barry were perfect hosts and made us feel right at home. Anne makes a fresh, homemade breakfast, using honey from her own hives and blueberries from her garden. They also have a wide range of fruits, vegetables and herbs in...

One of the best B&B's we've stayed at during our Maine excursions and it's dog friendly! The old farm house is charming and filled with vintage treasures. Quite a lovely find on one of the back roads near both Bethel and Rumford. After an outstanding breakfast- pancakes with Maine blueberries-( yum), we hiked the mountain trails, exploring the 'out of...

The other reviews talk all about the food -- they are correct: Anne makes an amazing breakfast that is perfect for skiers who want to hit the slopes with a belly full of great food. What I really like about this place is that Barry and Anne treat you like family. If you're looking for a sterile get-in-get-out hotel, well,...

The Mountain Spring Farm is nestled in the mountains of Maine on a quaint back road, close by to hiking trails, great restaurants within 15 miles (in nearby Rumford or Bethel), many ponds -lakes and rivers, places to bike ride, museums, antique shopping, and peace and quiet. The farm is owned by Anne & Barry - who treat you like...

We took a short trip to this little farmhouse to ski in the mountains of Maine. We were referred here by Black Mountain of Maine, a small Nordic-oriented ski resort and how pleased we are to have found this place! Barry and Anne are a very intelligent, very friendly retired couple who run this B&B to, as they say, "meet...

“A nice place to stay for a single, a couple, or for a group of friends or relatives. We had a bunch of our wedding guests stay here at the FARM. They also have a large room with room for 8 people or so on single beds or couches - which is great for anyone if you all want to stay together in one room with a stone fireplace, and a shared bathroom. Alot of the ski teams stay here when they are in the area. Also, one of my favorite times of year to go here is the last weekend in September or the first weekend in October - which is usually a great time to see the fall colors on the trees change in the mountains. Plus, this Farm is pet friendly, and you can have your dog stay here with you. The fees are resonable, and Anne & Barry will also take care of your dog, while you are away for the day - for an extra fee. They have 2 chocolate labs - who are super friendly, and nice. They do have rooms available that are pet-free ones - if that is an option you are looking for.”
