The Breakers inn is amazing!! The time we spent there was wonderful! The rooms are very clean and comfortable with awesome views! The breakfast was one of the highlights of our day! Great food and kind people. We will definitely be going back!

Visited Scarborough during peak autumn color season. Right on Higgins Beach. Good breakfast. Decent rooms. Great common areas for watching the waves, playing cards and a television if you need to catch up on the outside world.

My extended family just came back from a wonderful stay at the Breakers. The rooms were beautiful and the staff could not have been more accommodating. The free breakfast every day was delicious, and there were plenty of common areas to read quietly or to play board games. And the view is indescribable. The pictures are from Room 2, our...

The Breakers is a great place to stay, Rodney and the staff are friendly and are alway willing to make your stay pleasurable. The inn is always fresh and clean. It's the place to unwind and enjoy family. Lastly, the breakfast daily is unbelievable. We look forward to returning.

Looked lovely on the outside and wonderful location, but room was very dated, with a cramped bathroom. Good breakfast Was far more pricey than other places we've stayed on our tour of New England, and not as good quality

As the owner and innkeeper I feel badly that we did not meet your expectations. The room you had, (room #6) does have a small bathroom. If at the time of your overnight stay you had indicated you were not happy we would have accommodated you in a different room. I remember meeting you and recall we discussed your visit...

The Breakers Inn was the perfect spot to enjoy Maine's beautiful Higgins Beach where I swam, took long walks and finished reading a novel. Breakfasts and the lobster roll for lunch were delicious. Service was gracious. The views everywhere from the grounds were magnificent. And for all this the price was very reasonable.

Can a B & B retain its long heritage, update where needed, & still offer the best of the old & the new? The Breakers can and does. What a delight! Rodney & his wife Debbie embody hospitality, each in a unique way. The inn itself is a timeless a dream, on one of the loveliest beaches in southern Maine....

Recently returned from a 3 night stay at the Breakers Inn in Room 6. Higgins Beach was a revelation to us. What a great stretch of sand and surf. The Inn has an awesome location and around every corner inside the inn lurks a great view. We loved being able to relax on the porch listening to the surf and...

I enjoyed my stay at the Breakers in a very retro kind of way. This is the kind of place where you have an assigned table with your last name written on a card when you come down for breakfast, and heaven forbid you don't stay in your place. I can see it as very family-friendly, and also romantic in...

Four years ago we discovered this gem. Now we don't even think about going anywhere else! The staff is wonderful, the inn is fabulous, the views are breathtaking, the beach is sandy (not rocky) & the waves are smashing! Clean, beautiful rooms, homemade breakfasts - muffins baked daily- and easy parking make this destination our favorite. The Breakers Inn is...
