Lobster Buoy is one of my favorite places to go. The owners are friendly, but don't tolerate those that would disrupt the stay of others. There are many "regulars" that have been coming back year after year, but they are a welcoming group. Love, love, love Lobster Buoy!!

This rustic, old timey, small campground, is a gem, right on the water! Love it! We come here every year! The week after Labor Day there are very few people here. The owner is a lovely woman! Awaken to the sound of the lone lobsterman checking his pots...Watch an island appear out of the mist and realize there's a heron...

We arrived here without a reservation whilst kayaking along the Maine Island Trail and although it was really busy the staff did everything possible to meet our needs. It was a peaceful evening with very easy access to the water. Although we were only there for one night it was clear that many of the people and resident for quite...

Lobster Buoy Campsites are the most relaxing campsites, if you want to get away and just enjoy camping. No need for pools, hot tubs, rec rooms, etc. Just a peaceful, friendly place with other friendly campers and great owners. If you want fancy, this is not the place for you, but if you want to relax, this is the place...

We were invited along on on a camping trip by another family who have been coming to the site for years, and their folks too also have a regular plot. What an absolute pleasure it was! Unfortunately we chose a terrible weekend weatherwise - it was pretty much a monsoon for an entire weekend (early summer before July 4th) but...

I have camped here many years. in the past with family, friends, and solo and most recently with fiance! We have made friends and acquaintances with the staff and clientele! Nice laid back camping area. No frills, just a great place to sleep, eat in site, and swim in the ocean. We use it as a base to visit all...

We arrived near the end of the season and were 1 of 4 campers in the park. Our waters edge site had gorgeous views and we loved watching the tide and hearing the waves. Very friendly owner. Prices cheap. The grounds needed some manicuring but everything else was wonderful. We would stay here again.

Found this Campsite quite by accident. This will not be our last visit! Perfect in so many ways - took us back to the 50s and 60s, when life was simple and people lived by the rules! There is no messing around here. They explain what is expected and if you live by it - you enjoy the magic of...

I have been many years visiting, Love the area and love the camp site. Quiet camping area with some lots open to lots that area surrounded by woods. Always welcomed. Camp sites just off the waters edge or even rent a cabin or a trailer or just bring your own. Swimming on the beach more beach when the tide is...

We recently stayed for one night in a rented RV after visiting the area for a day. We were able to get a spot on the beach with fantastic views. Our site and views made the stay! This is a location off the beaten path and was not your typical beaten path campground. The grounds were well kept but the...

“You can get a tent site right on the water, but it gets windy at times. The wooded sites are more private but can get damp and buggy. I like them anyway. Almost all the sites have great views of the water. Keep a camera handy for the ever-changing clouds and water views.”
